Build video of Cupcake CNC 3d printer. Been planning to do a time lapse build video for a long time and finally I got the perfect subject. Interval times varied from 10s to 30s. On a builds long as this, I found the 30s was the minimum.
Little info on the printer: Uses 3mm ABS/HDPE/PLA plastic wire as print material. Extrudes 0.4mm thin wire. Can print nearly anything in 100mm x 100mm x 130mm area.
Modifications: Paints used. Glossy black, Glossy white and fluorescent yellow. 300mm UV tubes 2.5mm red glow wire.
Cameras: Filmed with Canon Ixus70 & 700 with CHDK installed. (Time lapse & motion detect -scripts)
