It’s time for another off-road showdown!
The four cars set to go head-to-head over this off-road course are a Jeep Wrangler, an Ineos Grenadier, a Land Cruiser 200 Series, and… a Volkswagen Touareg?!
The Touareg may seem out of place in this list, but trust us, it might be one of the most capable cars here! Let’s take a closer look at the stats…
The Jeep Wrangler rolls up with a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol that’s been tuned to deliver 304hp and 400Nm. This power is sent to all four wheels, and it weighs in at 2,580kg. It is also equipped with a load of features to help it off-road, including front & rear locking diffs and a low-range mode.
Up next, we have the tuned Grenadier. It rolls up with a 3-litre straight-six diesel that puts down 249hp and 550Nm. This power is sent to all four wheels, and it weighs in at 2,740kg. It comes with low-range mode, standard locking centre diffs and optional locking front and rear diffs.
Following that, we have the Land Cruiser. It’s powered by a 4.5-litre twin-turbo diesel V8 that puts down 286hp and 650Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed auto, and it weighs 2,555kg. In terms of off-road capabilities, it has a low-range mode and a Torsen limited-slip centre differential, as well as an adjustable ride height.

00:36Now, we're going to start with this uphill drug race.

00:38This is the first heat.
00:39The winner of this heat will go against the winner of the next heat.
00:42And then the two losers will then go head-to-head
00:44to see how the cars rank overall.

14:54Now, we're going to do a rock crawl.
14:55Once again, I'm going to go first, because I lost the last challenge.
14:58Now, I need to point something out to you.
14:59So, this Grenadier has a little bit of a fault.
15:02You see, it is fitted with a central diff lock, and I can lock that in manually.
15:07It also has front and rear diff locks, but for some reason, they're not working.
15:10When I press the buttons, which are up here, I get a flashing warning sign, and it says,
15:14oh, a diff lock doesn't work.
15:15Also, I can't activate the off-road mode, which gives you improved traction control
15:19for when you're off-roading.
15:20I can either run with a central diff lock on, which disables traction control, or I can
15:24run without the diff lock on, and that means I have traction control.
15:29So, I think I'm going to go with traction control and no central diff lock for this run.
15:33It's probably better to have traction control.
15:34I'm going to go in low-range mode for control.
15:36Here we go.

20:52so where are we standing as we go into the final challenge the total scores are seven for the ineos
20:5810 for the volkswagen 10 for the toyota and 15 for the jeep as we go into the final challenge
21:04they might think that nothing can beat the jeep but I have a little bit of a twist which will
21:09happen
21:09at the end so it might not win after all so this final challenge is just about outright power speed
21:15and traction because you're going to rise up this slope as quick as possible with minimal slip and we
21:21need to impress graham with our performance okay we're going to have danny game first in the
21:26volkswagen danny's never driven up here before so um he doesn't know what's at the top it's quite
21:30tight in the top but we'll see how he does good luck wow well that sounded the best

23:31off-roading it's not just about how well it performs it's how well it performs for the money
23:35so now this is the twist what we're going to do is compare how much each of these cars cost
23:40in their
23:41current status and then we'll be taking points off depending on how much they cost compared to the
23:47others right the car which costs the most is going to have four points taken off the second one three
23:53points taken off and so on and so forth so i've got to ask you then alex how much are

23:57for for this vehicle um you can pick this up for about 60k 60k with all the bits so if
