00:00Do you have a speech from Love Story?
00:02I'm just really focusing right here, right now.
00:05This is so overwhelming in the best way possible.
00:08How has your life changed from Love Story?
00:11Because this show struck such a chord.
00:14Of course, playing Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, such an iconic figure.
00:17How has life changed?
00:19I mean, I think in many ways it's changed dramatically.
00:22You know, just being able to be at a place like the Emmys is so insane.
00:26But there's also been a lot of constants in my life.
00:31You know, I think while my life is moving a bit faster,
00:34I'm still seeing all of my friends that have known me since high school or college or even earlier.
00:39And I'm in New York City, which, you know, I filmed there and I live there.
00:43So I think more than anything, the pace of my life has gotten a little faster.
00:48And I'm at wonderful events such as this.
00:51But, yeah, it still is living in New York City, the city that I love.
00:55How have you adjusted to losing your anonymity,
00:57which is obviously something Carolyn also had to grapple with in the show and in her real life?
01:01I mean, I think that's one of the wonderful things about living in New York.
01:04Yeah, we're all just sort of ants in an anthill.
01:08Everyone's off to their job.
01:10And I think you can retain a bit of that.
01:12It's always really wonderful when someone comes up and tells you that what you did is meaningful to them.
01:17So that's always a lovely surprise.
01:20Have you heard from anyone in the Kennedy family about your portrait or has anyone reached out to you about
01:25the series?
01:26You know, I haven't.
01:27I think, yeah, there's been, I haven't been able to communicate with them.
01:32Do you think they watched it?
01:34I have no idea.
01:35There's a lot of stuff on television tonight, as we can tell.
01:37I know, but there's only one love story.
01:39Yes, we are.
01:39Okay, now how do you follow up love story?
01:42What is the next, well, can you tell us anything about a next role?
01:45Yeah, you know, I just did a movie shot in Australia.
01:48I love shooting in Australia.
01:50It's my third project, which is wild.
01:53And right now I'm working on something called the Enigma Variations, which has been really fun.
01:58It's another project that shoots in New York, which is so lovely.
02:01It's amazing to be able to work and live in that city.
02:04Great cast, great creatives.
02:06It's been really, really wonderful.
02:07I'm not sure if you've seen any of this chatter online, but there is a Britney Spears biopic
02:12that is in the works, and some people online have said that they think that you would make
02:16a great Britney.
02:17Oh, my gosh, that's very flattering.
02:22She is one unto herself.
02:26I give my hats off to whoever takes on Britney.
02:30You don't think you could pull it off?
02:31Would you play Britney?
02:33I think I'm too tall to play Britney.
02:35I think you could do it.
02:37I think you would be great.
02:37We could figure it out.
02:38We could figure it out.
02:39You are great tall.
02:39How tall are you?
02:41In these heels, I'm like six foot.
02:43And tell us about your look.
02:44It's incredible.
02:45I'm wearing Chanel, a beautiful lilac number from Chanel.
02:49It's got these incredible pearls on it.
02:52I feel so magnificent.
02:54Their team is just magical.
02:58And, yeah, it's really special to be bringing in my first Emmys in none other than Chanel.
03:02E, it's just a little bit of a beautiful impatience.
