00:00I asked those questions because I was coming off of this meeting I had with a fashion magazine
00:06and we were talking about Carolyn Bessette's summer.
00:08Love story was everywhere.
00:10Daisy had questions, but then you helped her finish the sentence
00:12and you did ask if CBK was a bitch.
00:14Only because from fashion girl to fashion girl,
00:17like we are a little bit, you know, bitchy and cold.
00:21I was just curious, like, you know, does she have like a demeanor
00:24where like she was sort of cold and like maybe a little bit of a fashion diva?
00:28I maybe shouldn't have gone with the B word, but like I didn't know.
00:35I love how you then turn the conversation to, well, what do you think of CBK summer
00:39and everyone dressing more minimalistically inspired by CBK?
00:43And Carol said she didn't like that.
00:46And I think what she was trying to say, and I feel like probably with reflection you would agree,
00:49I think that maybe she just doesn't like that her friend is being reduced to a fashion trend.
00:53Whereas like you and your confessional, you were like, now if I died
00:56and people wore fabulous garments and called it a Jessel Tank summer,
01:00I would feel so honored, which I guess like I can understand both perspectives.
01:04After that brunch, did you, did the cast stop peppering her with questions about love story
01:09since it kind of seemed like, I mean, she literally left the brunch.
01:12Yes.
01:12I think that, you know, we obviously, that's our first kind of like meeting with Carol
01:17where she like is talking about how love story affected her.
01:21I asked those questions because I was coming off of the, this meeting I had with a fashion magazine.
01:27I met with InStyle, we were doing a podcast and we were talking about Carol and Bessette summer.
01:32Now, you know, I understand where Carol's coming from, like obviously her best friend
01:36who is no longer with us in her eyes was reduced to a trend.
01:40But in my eyes, I was like, no, we're celebrating her.
01:43She had incredible, impeccable style.
01:45You know, she was known for this very chic, minimal sort of vibe.
01:49And that's really what I think how Limpusette summer means to me.
01:53I think obviously to Carol, it was something different.
01:55And I know because you were kind of like honoring her and being just like so excited.
02:00People were kind of reigniting the, like a fandom for her or just a fascination with her.
02:06But obviously it is, it is a different energy for Carol.
02:09Did Daisy ask you questions beforehand about it that you were like,
02:12Daisy, now's the time to ask your questions.
02:13I think everyone was like, you know, a little bit curious.
02:17I mean, Carol really lived that sort of, you know, experience with them.
02:22And I think, you know, for us, we're just seeing what we're seeing on the TV show.
02:26Obviously it's not apples to apples, no one intended.
02:29It was all an innocence in my, we didn't know that we were like going to, you know, upset her.
02:34And I think she, it did resurface a lot of emotion for her.
02:38So we're super, you know, we were cognizant of that after that.
02:43We're not going to happen.
02:43We're not going to happen.
