00:00Plugged bunker shots. Love them or hate them, this tip will get you out every time.
00:04So we can see here I've got two examples of a ball in a bunker. A perfect lie and
00:09the plugged bunker. If I play my normal bunker shot you'll notice how high the
00:14ball comes out and I can get some spin. Nice trajectory, the ball checked up
00:21nicely. That's not gonna happen with the plug bunker shot because there's too
00:26much sand between my club and the ball. To navigate this, rather than laying the
00:32club open traditionally and exposing the bounce, I'm gonna turn the club in and
00:37I'm gonna dig. We're gonna be forceful with this, I need a lot of energy to get
00:40through the sand but that'll help it dig but you can see I've de-lofted it, the
00:45ball's gonna come out and run a lot more. I want to get it quite steep on it. You
00:56have the best chance of me getting out every time. Give that a go and see how
01:00you get on.
