00:06improving facilities for customers. The Beacon pub and hotel in Sedgley, which dates back to 1852,
00:13has been named runner-up in Camera's Heritage Revival Awards. Judges praised restoration work
00:19including the historic conservatory and the conversion of a sitting room into extra customer
00:25space. The Grade II listed building will also appear on Camera's national inventory for interiors of
00:31national heritage importance. Beer has been brewed on the site for more than 150 years,
00:38and owner Simon Massey says the award recognises years of careful restoration work locally.
