00:00There's been a few things that have happened the last couple of years, which has made the idea of reconciling
00:05with my parents first an opportunity.
00:08A couple weeks after that, I went out to Nashville and met with my older brother.
00:13And a couple weeks after that, I met with my little brother.
00:16So it was cool.
00:18You know, there was tough conversations for sure.
00:21But I'm just in a much better headspace.
00:24The family feud is over.
00:26However, Aaron Rodgers revealed on Cam Hayward's Not Just Football podcast how he reconciled with his parents and brothers.
00:33He credited his extremely private wife, Brittany, for encouraging him to make amends and, quote, put aside his ego and
00:39judgment.
00:40Aaron added,
00:41Not that Brittany was pushing me, she wasn't.
00:43It was more just, when you're loved by someone in such an unconditional and beautiful, pure way, it changes your
00:49perspective on all your relationships.
00:51We first caught wind of the reunion back in July when Aaron posted a sweet Instagram carousel, calling it another
00:58bonding week, hashtag fam.
01:00He posed with his dad, Ed, and his mom, Darla, and shared snaps of his older brother, Luke, and his
01:05younger brother, Jordan, and his little nephews.
01:08On the pod, Aaron took us through the chain of events leading up to that week.
01:11He said tragic events in his parents' hometown of Chico, California, led them to move to Nashville, Tennessee.
01:17He met them on their last day in their house, which he said he bought and built for them, calling
01:23it a full-circle moment.
01:24Then, a few weeks later, the Rodgers brothers patched things up during a family week in Nashville.
01:29The years-long family rift dates back at least to 2016.
01:33It all went public during Jordan's season on The Bachelorette, where he met his future wife, Jojo Fletcher.
01:39On the show, Jordan called out Aaron's absence from the family visit, essentially airing their dirty laundry, saying,
01:45Me and Aaron don't really have that much of a relationship.
01:48It's just kind of the way he's chosen to do life, and I've chosen to stay close with my family,
01:53and my parents, and my brother.
01:55Then, in 2024, Aaron addressed the controversy in his Netflix doc, Enigma.
01:59And I was quiet about it, because I thought the best way to do it was just, don't talk about
02:04it publicly.
02:05And what do they do?
02:06The Green Bay Packers quarterback's name is all over The Bachelorettes this season.
02:10His younger brother, Jordan, is in the final two, and Jordan revealed their family estrangement to millions of viewers.
02:17They go on a bullsh** show and leave two empty chairs.
02:21They all agreed this was, like, a good thing to do, to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating
02:27show.
02:27Now it seems like the Rodgers bros have buried the hatchet.
02:30But what do you think about all the family drama?
02:33Let us know in the comments.
