00:02After three months out of public view, Mitch McConnell is back at the U.S. Capitol.
00:07The 84-year-old Kentucky senator returned in a wheelchair Monday.

00:13He cast his first Senate vote since a fall at his Washington home, sent him to the hospital in June.
00:18McConnell voted to advance the nomination of Matthew Byrne to be a federal judge in Ohio.
00:23The vote was a close one, 47 to 46.
00:26It was McConnell's first public appearance since his hospitalization.
00:31He later spent weeks in rehab before returning home in August,
00:34and his long absence had fueled questions about whether he would return before his final Senate term ends in January.
00:41McConnell says his recovery has been long and often frustrating and acknowledges he's not quite back to 100 percent.
00:49But he says he'll try to be there for the tough votes, with the farm bill at the top of
00:53his list.
00:54McConnell also says he plans to spend his final months in office supporting NATO and Ukraine in its fight against
