00:00the Packers have now lost six straight games and this is unlike this is new territory for the
00:08Packers where they're not looking like themselves six straight losses dating back to last year
00:16including the playoffs it's the longest losing strength since 1990-91 they led by more than
00:22one score nine or more points in the second half of two of those four losses that we saw yesterday
00:30what do you make of what's going on in Green Bay right now what's your explanation for the Packers
00:35woes LaFleur has this inability to put teams away man like they they look like they had the Vikings
00:44dead to rights in the first half like I thought the Packers were running away with this game it's
00:49like and we've seen this how many different years of the playoffs uh specifically Matt where it's
00:54like dude can you not put teams away like unless you decide and I guess that's where the Josh Jacobs
01:01of all of this comes in where it's like LaFleur in previous times when he has put teams away it's
01:06like all right well we're just gonna turtle we're just gonna sit on the clock we're gonna run we're
01:11gonna eat up the clock we're gonna play slow and we're gonna get out of here with a win okay
01:17if you
01:17don't have the ability to do that what are you doing like what are you what are you doing so
01:24yeah
01:25I mean I think a lot of this has to come down with like LaFleur I think is still one
01:28of the best play
01:29callers in the game in terms of offensive play designs but as far as like sequencing and late
01:36game decision making it's still kind of spotty dude like you're telling me like the other thing
01:43about this is is um we could also talk about Micah Parsons here lack of a pass rush their defense
01:48kind of getting hung out to dry as the game game kind of goes on but I think the the
01:54the bigger
01:54takeaway for me is the Packers inability to put teams away like could you take anything different
01:59away from this Matt yeah not really I just without Josh Jacobs without Micah Parsons it feels like this is
02:07not the Packers this is not the team that the Packers thought they were going to be and so they
02:12got off to a very hot start the Vikings could not do much if anything against them the injury to
02:18Kyler
02:18Murray obviously was shocking and somewhat of a scary scene and we hope that he's going to be okay
02:24after getting the concussion and then Carson Wentz came in and then oh my gosh Justin Jefferson got
02:29rolling and it was all right that guy is that dude when he's when he's running open he's unguardable
02:35what do you make of Justin Jefferson from a fantasy standpoint are you downgrading him with Carson
02:41Wentz I I don't feel good about it I mean I I know we could all say like okay the
02:47first two you know
02:47he scores two touchdowns in the first game and and Carson Wentz looks like he's able to sit here and
02:52support his value fine and the opening schedule like definitely leans itself to where Jefferson's
02:58probably going to have a few more big games I mean they get the Bears they get the Buccaneers Dolphins
03:03we just saw what the Detroit Lions did to the Saints although I do think that the Saints defense
03:08played really well with all things considered in that game but I think you're looking at this
03:13opening schedule so there's definitely like runway for Justin Jefferson so like if I if I drafted him
03:18which I didn't draft him on any teams I wasn't high on this offense I wasn't high on Kyler Murray
03:22we'll see if we get Kyler back in week two the other thing about it is even if you want
03:26to feel good
03:26about Justin Jefferson with Carson Wentz we still haven't seen this the version of this offense
03:30with Kyler Murray so if Kyler Murray goes out he sucks as soon as he if he plays in week
03:34two
03:34then maybe we're feeling quite different about Jefferson I don't want to overreact about week one
