00:10Hi friends! It's Jade from Sweet Softies here. I've been looking for a comprehensive and well-designed
00:16literacy program to start my daughter on and was really excited to learn that Love Every has
00:21recently come out with a reading skillset program. I'm familiar with the quality of their play kits,
00:27which I highly recommend for littles by the way. I have a number of different review videos showcasing
00:32the play kits I got for my child and so I knew it'd be worth giving Love Every's reading skillset
00:39program a try. This video is going to give you a look into their reading program including my
00:45thoughts on it as a pediatric speech and language pathologist. As an overview, the Love Every reading
00:52program is designed to support early literacy development in children, particularly for those
00:58aged 3 to 7. This program combines interactive, hands-on activities with high-quality, age-appropriate
01:06books and materials aiming to nurture a child's love for reading while building essential reading
01:12skills. It focuses on five key areas of early literacy. Phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension,
01:23print awareness, and writing. Based on where my daughter Lina's level is at, I got parts 2 and 3.
01:32So here are snippets of Lina engaging with part 2 materials. It continues the early literacy journey for
01:39children, typically between the ages of 4 and 6. Lina is 4 and this phase is really building on the
01:47foundational skills developed in part 1. So here in part 2 really works on things like decoding, word
01:54recognition, and sentence building. Children are gonna start to explore sight words, rhyming patterns,
02:01and phonics rules to help them sound out words and improve reading fluency. I'm personally very
02:08impressed by how well designed the book sets are. I've been having Lina play the games and then we use
02:15the books as sort of an assessment to see how she's doing with generalizing the reading skills that she
02:20learned through the games. So far so good. I want to also point out some features I really like in
02:27the
02:27book set, including getting warmed up with some preview words to start.

02:34Uh huh. Good reading.
02:39Gets.
02:40Gets? Uh huh.
02:42Buck.
02:44There are also sight words and vocabulary terms to go over prior to getting into the story, and at the
02:51end of each
02:51story are comprehension questions. So it really tackles the five key areas of early literacy in
02:58one go. Can bug be big? Last step.
03:12Overall, I have high regards for Love Every's reading skillset program. It's definitely well designed,
03:20tackles early literacy through a multi-faceted approach with storytelling, books, hands-on activities,
03:27and games. And the best part is, it nurtures that joy for literacy in children, which is priceless.
