01:21:34So that I think is the biggest challenge, making the audience feel they're actually on a 747

01:21:40and not just watching, you know, uninvolved.

01:21:47And I would say there are probably very few American films that have tried to build the

01:21:52full length of an airplane.

01:21:53I think because of that, Vincent thought it'd be really cool to have something that is unique

01:21:58to us.

01:21:59This airplane is the main set piece.

01:22:00Everything takes place on this airplane.

01:22:02So we treated it like our main set.

01:22:04This is our house.

01:22:05This is where we live in.

01:22:06That part's difficult, you know.

01:22:08A lot of things would get sent over the walkie-talkie from Vincent to the actors.

01:22:13And it would all be in Chinese.

01:22:14And Wich and I would look at each other.

01:22:16Are they going to do something different now?

01:22:18But culturally, no, there's not enough differences, I think, to make it very difficult.

01:22:23It's just another challenge.

01:22:24It's a bit more fun, actually.

01:22:26I think the most challenging with this production is a lot of team members.

01:22:32They're coming from a very different background.

01:22:34And we are working together the first time.

01:22:38We are like an international team.

01:22:40So there is differences.

01:22:42There is film production coordination from different countries.

01:22:49This movie has got everything that anybody could ever possibly want from a film.

01:22:58It was a lot of fun to shoot this film.

01:23:02I never, Vince was totally, totally professional and passionate about his film,

01:23:07which is refreshing to be behind a producer who truly is behind his vision.

01:23:11And I can't wait to see what the finished version looks like.

01:23:15One of the biggest challenges in writing music for The Last Flight is really to try to incorporate all the

01:23:21Hollywood big epic sounds.

01:23:24And I think that's one of the reasons why Vincent hired me to work on Last Flight is because I'm

01:23:28here in Hollywood,

01:23:29a Hollywood composer who's done Disney movies and DreamWork movies and others,

01:23:35whereby I've been able to incorporate and assimilate a lot of the orchestral sounds that I think Vincent wants to

01:23:41hear and really needs in order to punch up this movie in order to create that kind of Hollywood sound.

01:23:47Well, the first thing I was asked to work on was a song.

01:23:52So I wrote a really lovely ballad for the film called Last Love.

01:23:56But the film itself is a thriller and as such will be dark and appropriately scary for the creature that

01:24:07we find on this last flight.

01:24:12I had to build an international team.

01:24:14So different cultures, different nations, different backgrounds, different positions.

01:24:19It's very hard to make such a big combination to keep rolling.

01:24:23So it's the hardest part for me to put everything together and make it work.
