A video posted on social media shows a 13-year-old Muslim schoolgirl being verbally abused on a bus on her way home from school in Sydney. The incident has been recorded by the Islamophobia Register Australia and police says inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

00:52and now also being normalized as part and parcel of just being a Muslim Australian.
00:56And it's getting worse with research showing children like Jenna

01:07and they're starting to actually bear the brunt of something
01:10that they can't even begin to understand or explain or even process.
01:13It's very frustrating.
