00:52Ohio is ground zero for health care and affordability crisis.
00:56In my district, I've met two types of people.
00:59People already buried in medical debt, and people who avoid going to the hospital altogether.
01:07The Cleveland area is known for having one of the best health care clinics in the world.
01:11People come from all over the country to come here to get treatment.
01:15But more and more, the working people who power this community can't even afford to see a doctor
01:20when they get sick.
01:21It's a disgrace.
01:24And even those who can't afford care, it can be harder to access.
01:29Medina has no birthing center.
01:31I know what struggling with health care costs is like.
01:35Early in my career as an iron worker, I didn't get enough hours to get insurance and got a
01:40bill in the mail for $900 a month for COBRA.
01:43I guess Max Miller might be able to afford $900 a month health insurance, but I don't
01:48know anybody else who could.
01:53Our health care premiums are going up for no reason.
01:56They're going up because Max Miller voted for the biggest cut to health care funding in
01:59American history.
02:01Why?
02:02In order to pay for a massive tax cut for billionaires and big corporations.
02:08Families like his get a tax cut.
02:11Families like ours get higher health care prices.
02:14When Miller puts money out of the health care system, costs go up for all of us.
02:18I call it the max tax.
02:21It's the price we're paying for Max Miller's pro-billionaire, anti-worker policies.
02:26And we can't afford it anymore.
