00:05Smart glasses, smart TVs, smart air conditioners, the devices we use at home are getting increasingly intelligent.
00:13This is IFA 2026, one of the world's biggest shows of consumer electronics.
00:19This year's theme is The Future Is Now, and it's easy to see why.
00:29At this five-day show in Berlin, one trend stands out – smart devices working together.
00:35CCL calls this vision an NI-inspired life, where artificial intelligence, sustainable energy, and next-generation displays come together in
00:44one living space.
00:45At the heart of it is CCL's screen universe.
00:48From tiny displays and smart glasses, to paper-like phones and tablets, and giant TVs, screens are becoming smart interfaces,
00:57connecting people, content, and the world around them.
01:00We also have seen a large-scale different screenings, such as small to the computer, to our mobile phone, to
01:09our office, to our home screen, to our computer, to our office, to the display, to the display, and to
01:13the display.
01:14These are such a different kind of things, including our home-related TV.
01:18This is also an AI-funny technology that is developing and making these displays a more comfortable and comfortable and
01:26comfortable with people, and making these displays a more human-like memory.
01:28TCL has partnered with the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup taking place in Berlin at the same time as IFA.
01:36The company says its cinema-scale displays using SQD Mini LED and Micro LED technology
01:43make watching sport at home more immersive.
02:07It's not just the screen panels that are getting better, it's the software behind them too.
02:12Google TV has built its AI model, Gemini, into compatible TVs,
02:17so viewers can quickly find something to watch just by describing what they're in the mood for
02:23or adjust settings simply by talking to the screen.
02:26As the models get better, they understand the user much better,
02:30they understand the user personalization much better across the usage on mobile, on desktop,
02:36and now we're bringing that to the TV.
02:37So they deeply know the user, they know the context of the user,
02:40and within that they can actually help respond in a delightful and useful way to the user.
02:46Spanning more than two dozen buildings,
02:49IFA 2026 covers a huge range of themes, including beauty tech and well-being.
02:56Everything from high-tech healthcare products and wearables
02:59to exoskeletons supporting physical mobility
03:02and next-generation full-body massage chairs offering AI-customized treatments.
03:08It's not substituting human beings, it's just helping us to advance a little bit.
03:16Technology is needed, it is developing, but still we need human contact.
03:21A part of IFA has been turned into a showcase for humanoid robots.
03:25International research teams take part in the RoboCop competition.
03:29Building robots that play football, picking up required skills along the way.
03:32Heinrich Mellmann from Humboldt University of Berlin compares what's coming to the changes brought by the internet and smartphones.
03:40When the robots will finally be able to navigate on the street, in our homes, in the factories,
03:46this will be a much bigger social change.
03:49I don't know which one, so I don't know.
03:51But I know that we need to involve as many people as possible,
03:54so that we can scrutinize the issues early on and develop ideas that are promising.
04:04From translation screens breaking down language barriers to flying cars promising a new way to move around cities.
04:11IFA 2026 went all in to live up to its theme, the future is now.
04:17Across every hall, manufacturers from 49 countries thought how AI and automation are already making daily life better.
04:27I'm really optimistic to look forward. Why? Because it can make your life so much easier.
04:34Also people who need help, they can get help with robotic features or even with robots.
04:41That means you can enjoy your life in a better way with the technology, not of tomorrow, of today.
04:48Thank you very much.
04:48Thank you.
