With Nimrod’s fall, Mesopotamia entered a period of upheaval and political change. Over the centuries that followed, new powers emerged, old kingdoms disappeared, and the region was transformed.
In this documentary, we follow a 360-year journey through ancient Mesopotamia, from the period associated with Nimrod to the rise of Hammurabi.
Along the way, we explore the journeys of Prophet Abraham (عليه السلام), the Gutian invasion, the rise of Ur-Nammu and Shulgi, the Third Dynasty of Ur, and finally the emergence of Hammurabi and his famous law code.
This is the second part of our Nimrod series, exploring what came after his fall and how a changing Mesopotamia eventually produced one of the ancient world’s most famous rulers.
