00:01The BRICS Business Forum kicked off in New Delhi on Friday, one day before India hosts the group's annual summit.
00:09The focus of the forum was building more connected and resilient trade networks,
00:15with digital technology emerging as an important link between businesses.
00:23We are looking at technology as one of the solutions to strengthen BRICS
00:27because once you have a digital platform, it's easier for the different citizens and businesses and countries to be able
00:33to communicate with each other,
00:35to be able to expose business opportunities and obviously there will be challenges in terms of digital gap and so
00:40on,
00:40but that also creates a digital infrastructure investment opportunity.
00:43Since its founding two decades ago, BRICS has grown into a grouping of 11 full member states, including Egypt and
00:52South Africa.
00:53They represent major emerging markets and developing economies across the globe.
