03:19and people-to-people ties between India and Iran.

03:26the crisis in West Asia had already taken centre stage
03:29at the BRICS Business Forum.
03:31Prime Minister Modi flagged a threat to critical sea routes,
03:33stressing that the safety of seafarers must remain a priority
03:37and trade routes must remain open.
03:40Global trade can be further than the sea lanes are secure,
03:50the supply routes are open and the seafarers are safe.
03:59President Pezashkian meanwhile used the BRICS platform
04:02to hit out at the United States over its military actions
04:05and called on the grouping to respond to the challenges
04:08confronting its members.
04:12Iran has faced extensive sanctions over the past years.
04:17However, in recent months,
04:19these pressures have entered a far more dangerous phase
04:23as a result of the military aggression
04:26of the United States and the Israeli regime
04:29against the Saudi Republic of Iran.
