00:00Narrated Abu Hurairah
00:01While the Prophet, peace be upon him, was saying something in a gathering,
00:06a Bedouin came and asked him,
00:08When would the hour, doomsday, take place?
00:10Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, continued his talk.
00:13So some people said that Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, had heard the question,
00:18but did not like what that Bedouin had asked.
00:20Some of them said that Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, had not heard it.
00:24When the Prophet, peace be upon him, finished his speech, he said,
00:27Where is the questioner, who inquired about the hour, doomsday?
00:31The Bedouin said, I am here, O Allah's Apostle.
00:34Then the Prophet, peace be upon him, said,
00:37When honesty is lost, then wait for the hour, doomsday.
00:41The Bedouin said, How will that be lost?
00:43The Prophet, peace be upon him, said,
00:45When the power or authority comes in the hands of unfit persons,
00:49then wait for the hour, doomsday.
