00:09The ambition is to centralise everything in Newtown and Brecon, thus moving beds from places like Mychnlleth and Llanitlach further
00:17away from our communities and our residents.
00:19I failed to see how in Paws, where we have an ever older population, having up to 100 fewer community
00:28beds can resolve any issue.
00:31It is a step in the wrong direction, a retrograde one, and one of which we are totally opposed,
00:37and we'll be working with our communities, with our campaign groups, to ensure positive alternative proposal is developed,
00:45and that's why we're meeting many of them today here in Mychnlleth.
