The Faith of the Centurion — Matthew 8:5–13 ✝️
A Roman centurion came to Jesus because his servant was suffering terribly. Yet the centurion demonstrated extraordinary faith.
He told Jesus:
“Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.”
He understood that Jesus had complete authority and did not need to physically come to his home.
Jesus was amazed by his faith and declared that He had not found such great faith in Israel.
