00:11And we are going to keep going on.
00:16Yeah, we're going to keep going.
00:18We have to build more affordable housing.
00:27We are going to keep our streets safe.
00:34We are going to support public transit and make it even more affordable.
00:45All of these make our city better.
00:51Stronger.
00:53And they give every generation of kids and every family a chance.
01:01No matter if you're from downtown.
01:05From Scarborough.
01:15Or any of the awesome neighborhoods in our city.
01:23When I first arrived at City Hall as your mayor, no affordable housing was being built.
01:34And that was a choice.
01:37I made a different choice.
01:41Today, thousands of new affordable homes are under construction.
01:53Seven out of ten trainings in the sky are there because of the work we are doing.
02:05When I first arrived at City Hall three years ago, TDC riders were angry because their fares had gone up.
02:15And the services had been cut.
02:18And that's just not right.
02:22As your mayor, I did the exact opposite.
02:27I kept the fares low.
02:30And I'm investing in faster service.
02:39Back then, many libraries were closed on Sundays and evenings.
02:46Today, all 100 libraries are open seven days a week.
03:01We're longer hours of course, right?
03:04Yes, longer hours.
03:06Back then, 9-1-1 wait times were well over the national average.
03:13Today, our city is safer.
03:179-1-1 call times are 90% faster.
03:26We have more responders, including mental health crisis workers.
03:32Sing right!
03:39Atlanta, we have turned the corner.
03:44And we are feeling more optimistic.
03:48We have the momentum.
03:52Now we have to keep that momentum going!
04:00It's because these are not easy times.
04:06Trump and his terrorists create uncertainty and stress.
04:19Our world is rapidly changing around us.
04:23Everything is less affordable for almost everyone.
04:31So we have a choice to make.
04:35We can choose to work together, support each other,
04:40continue building a city we love.
04:47A joyous city that invites us and welcome us.
04:52Where we care for each other and stand up for each other.
05:00Where we celebrate who we are.
05:03Ambitious, hardworking, ready to win, ready to go forward.
05:14Where we build more housing in the world.
05:18The cost of living.
05:22Where we decide our own future as Torontonians.
05:31Or we can go backwards.
05:36We could choose leaders who will starve our public spaces and cut our services.
05:49He invites us instead of bringing us together.
05:55That is not what I want and I do not believe is what you want either.
06:00we can go backwards.
