During a stroll through Lapa, Ika Ellis tried pão de queijo, brigadeiro, coxinha, pastel, feijoada fritters and even a caipirinha.

Ika Ellis made the most of her visit to Rio de Janeiro to learn more about Brazilian culture and cuisine. In a video shared on social media, she showed moments from a walk through Lapa, a traditional neighborhood in downtown Rio.

“So much fun in Brazil,” Ika wrote in the post.

In the video, she can be seen walking through the neighborhood streets and trying several flavors that are well known across the country. Among her choices were pão de queijo, brigadeiro, coxinha, pastel and feijoada fritters. The experience also included a caipirinha, one of Brazil’s best-known drinks internationally.
