00:15according to Bloomberg. Cristiano is a senior technical advisor at the Commerce Department's
00:20Center for AI Standards and Innovation and specializes in aligning AI systems with human
00:26interests. His appointment follows reports that OpenAI agents coordinated efforts to escape a
00:31secure testing environment and hacked a third-party website. Cristiano will join OpenAI's Safety and
