Woman arrested after crashing into parked car and getting into fight in Florida

A 24-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, crashing into a parked car and getting into a fight with the vehicle’s owner in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States.

According to the New York Post, the incident occurred on August 30 and was captured by security cameras.

According to the Daytona Beach Police Department, Elizabeth Boucher was driving a Ford Bronco when she lost control at a roundabout and struck a Honda parked in front of the victim’s home. The impact pushed the Honda across the lawn while Boucher continued accelerating the vehicle.

The Honda’s owner was not inside the car at the time of the collision. However, after being alerted by a neighbor, she went to the scene, where she allegedly argued with Boucher. According to the account given to police, the two exchanged blows before officers arrived.

The driver also appeared confused about what had happened. According to police, she initially said she believed she had only struck the front of the Honda. Officers replied that the impact had completely displaced the vehicle.

During the police stop, Boucher refused to take a breathalyzer test. She also allegedly tried to leave the scene before being restrained and handcuffed by officers.
