00:00Bonjour, je m'appelle Brendan Fraser et j'avais fait du tournage dans le film Pressure.
00:04Eisenhower was a leader who earned respect because of how he respected those around him.
00:13He listened to everyone. He didn't just hear them.
00:16He made his choices and his deliberations and his decisions based on the best idea that came from the best
00:24source.
00:25It seems a simple enough notion, but we would be surprised as a society how we can find it lacking
00:33in so many ways.
00:35I approached this character to present who he was on a fateful weekend before the world's largest amphibious assault in
00:46human history on the morning of June 6, 1944.
00:50To tell this cautionary tale of what happens when we humans ignore the forces of science and nature.
00:58We do so at our peril, and that can be incredibly daunting for any actor to approach that role.
01:05Certainly it was for me, too.
01:06He was an individual who cared, who was frightened, who had a conscience, who could become frustrated and angry,
01:13who somehow still had a sense of humor, and even made mistakes and owned them.
01:21Eisenhower revealed himself to be someone who I grew to admire.
01:25Real flashlight revealed himself to be a help from distance outside the privilege ofalalekal America.
