Esubalew Journeys Home Teaser Trailer

Esubalew was taken from his mother at nine years old. From his rural home in Ethiopia, his captors took him to the capital city Addis Ababa. Once there, they blinded him. For a period of two to three years, they forced Esubalew to beg on the streets for money. They kept the money. When he didn't earn enough, they whipped him with stinging nettle. Esubalew also had to beg for his food. Eventually, he was rescued and adopted into America. Now, 16 years later, Esubalew Journeys to Ethiopia, home to his mother who believed he was dead.
