Kansas City, Missouri got a fairly aggressive light show Sunday night, September 6, 2026.
A severe thunderstorm moved through the metro while lightning repeatedly lit up the entire sky. So naturally I stood there filming it instead of doing anything particularly useful.

Kansas City spent Sunday night aggressively flicking the sky lights on and off. ⚡ Anybody else around KC get a good view of this storm, or was I the only one standing outside filming it like that was somehow helpful?
