00:03Commissioner's Alarm, about continued Israeli violations on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.
00:09The Commission and Commissioners, we were ourselves in Kuneitra and Daraa earlier this summer in July,
00:15and we saw firsthand the impact on communities who honestly reported more than anything else
00:21their bewilderment, their utter bewilderment at Israeli actions while they are trying to rebuild their lives
00:28and while Syrians are trying to rebuild their state.
00:31Israeli military activity in South Syria is increasing, it's sustained, and it's entrenched.
00:37Such acts, in our view, may amount to war crimes.
00:40The Commission is deeply concerned that Israel's belligerent occupation has expanded
00:46and that it has expanded its presence further and concurs with the Secretary General,
00:51who have also visited Syria this summer, that, quote,
00:55violations of Syrian sovereignty and territorial integrity are unacceptable and must cease.
