00:00I think oftentimes teams have this tendency, even though they say they're not doing it, of looking to the door
00:05when the big guy's going to return.
00:07And then everybody exhales, and you actually let go of the rope a little bit.
00:11You would think if you're, and in your situation, a Yankee fan, hope that the importance of the moment, you
00:19know, you're still trying to catch Tampa Bay four back.
00:22You're trying to hold off Boston, who just doesn't lose a lot of baseball games.
00:26They're two back, and the playoffs are so close, you know, three weeks away, that the sense of urgency would
00:32stay high, even with Aaron Judge there.
00:34So that's the potential downside is always the big guy comes back, and everyone goes, big guy's back.
00:40Now, that's the positive is Aaron Judge seems to have an impact on a whole team and a whole lineup
00:46that makes everybody else.
00:48I think when you bring back the Goliath, all the Davids feel a little better about life.
00:54I do think it all began, like Ben Rice has hit much better recently, but I do think it all
00:59began to, like, get to Ben Rice after a while, both mentally and physically trying to carry the team when
01:05he's a very good hitter.
01:07But he's certainly, I mean, Aaron Judge is one of the best hitters in the history of the sport.
01:11So, you know, you begin to try to do too much.
01:14So I do think that there's a domino effect on the clubhouse, on the lineup, and everything else to do
01:23this.
01:23I also would not downplay if you get the full Aaron Judge that you might get to a much better
01:28outfield defense, including it'll be interesting, you know, seeing, I think Spencer Jones is going to play quite a bit
01:34of center field now, especially against righty pitching, though he's hit lefty pitching pretty good.
01:39I think there's just a linked benefit of judging back, where everyone feels a little better about it, and obviously
01:46it means a great deal to the Yankees.
