Watching this scene from Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017), I keep coming back to one question: could a conversation like this really go unmonitored inside a prison?
The possibility that someone in authority might knowingly allow it makes the scene even more disturbing. Does money buy privacy or cooperation?
