00:45and there are other varieties that put on an extended show from mid-summer to late-summer.
00:50Plant multiple varieties with varying bloom times for an all-summer show.
00:54Number 2 is the Mandevilla.

01:25or commonly available at plant shops in flower shades of yellow, orange, pink, or white.

01:33Place the vines in full sun with afternoon shade if possible,
01:37while providing a trellis to support the plant.
01:39This plant can easily grow upwards of 5 feet tall or higher in just one growing season,
01:44or allow it to cascade down a hanging basket.
01:46Whether you know it as a Spanish firecracker vine, love vine, or fire plant,
01:52number 4 on our list bears brilliant red blooms maturing to pale yellow,
01:56creating a gradient of color somewhat resembling a firecracker.
02:00Plus, this plant blooms freely from mid to late summer until frost,
02:04attracting pollinators such as bees and hummingbirds.
02:08Fertilize regularly for the best show of blooms.
02:11Number 5, the passionflower vine.
02:14It may look like it's from the tropics, but can actually be grown almost anywhere,
02:18including much colder areas.

02:24The fragrant, unusual, dramatic, almost spider-like flowers bloom all summer long,
02:29and don't stop until the first frost.

03:06that bloom all summer long, plus its attractive bean pods.

03:24although it is usually treated as an annual.
03:26If you're looking for something a little different to grow,
03:29why not consider the snail vine?
03:31This attractive vine is hardy in USDA zones 9 to 11,
03:35but can be grown as an annual in colder regions or brought indoors for the winter.
03:40The lavender and white flowers resemble curly shells

03:49where it can dangle up to 15 feet if permitted.

03:55This plant will add loads of color and interest to any garden from mid-summer until fall,
04:00with its beautiful pinkish-purple, sweet pea-like flowers,
04:03and interesting glossy purple seed pods.
04:06This vine is a vigorous grower, making it a popular choice
04:09for those that need quick cover on an arbor or fence.
04:13Bougainvillea is last on our list, and while it offers a long summer bloom time,
04:17the typical pink, purple, or orange flowers are actually not flowers at all.
04:21They are leaf brocks that surround the actual tiny white flowers.
04:25It can be grown year-round in zones 9 through 11,
04:28but in colder zones, this plant can be grown on the patio,
04:31bringing it indoors over the winter months.
04:34Place these woody vines in a site that receives full sun.
04:37So, not only do vines come in a wide array of shapes, colors, and bloom times,
