Paris High describes being attacked and bitten multiple times by her neighbor’s German Shepherd after going over to see a newly brought-home wedding dress. As she recounts the painful injuries to her thigh someone on the other side of the courtroom starts laughing.

Judge Judy immediately calls out the reaction and makes it clear there is nothing funny about what happened. She also has little patience for the excuses surrounding the dog attack and the owners’ failure to take responsibility.

Judge Judy became a daytime television institution during its 25-season run with Judith Sheindlin’s blunt observations and memorable courtroom confrontations.
