00:00Seeing Sam's reaction to what Percy and Charlie did like broke my heart and it because it's not
00:06something we get to see in the book and I was curious do you think he like really believes it
00:10when he tells Charlie like we're done you're dead to me and all that kind of stuff? 110% I
00:16think he
00:16believes it. I think he is so beyond hurt by Charlie more than any of the hurt that has ever
00:23happened with Percy at least in that given moment. I think that and he says so in the show at
00:29one
00:29point like Charlie is his only family he has left and to be so deeply betrayed by that sole family
00:36member that you have left now that both of his parents are gone he doesn't have other siblings
00:39like this is his only like blood relative and so having that level of betrayal and hurt and you
00:48know that's something that I love that we get to see in the show. I love that we get to
00:52see that
00:52moment happen and I love that Sam doesn't know in our show. I know that that's a slight difference
00:57from you know the from the book but I think Sam not knowing just creates an environment for us to
01:03see his spiral rather than in the book you know we hear about it and it's it's talked about but
01:09we
01:09don't get to actually actively see it happen and I think for me it was really fun to get to
01:13play that
01:14but also seeing the changes in the relationships with Percy and with Charlie and watching Sam completely
01:22like close Charlie off is heartbreaking and for me it's like I have a brother that I'm very close to
01:29and so like trying to tap into that like the thought of closing out my brother like that is
01:34heartbreaking and I think it's just it's such a great addition to the show.
