00:00You are the co-EP and casting director of The Pyramid, the unauthorized Dance Moms musical.
00:04When we were interviewing Abby Lee Miller, we brought it up.
00:07Trouble ensued.
00:08She went off.
00:09Oh no.
00:10That is not us.
00:12Okay.
00:12That is not me.
00:14We are working on Dance Moms, the musical.
00:17Okay.
00:18Oh, the real deal.
00:20It should be noted that Logan was a producer on Dance Moms.
00:24I was a talent coordinator.
00:26I want to just say that for clarity.
00:27Hey, but I was a glorified husband for the moms.
00:30I mean, literally, like if their toilet went out, like I would help them with that.
00:34Jill's car ran out of gas one time, had to help her off of Wilshire Boulevard.
00:37I also, I looked after Abby through that time.
00:40Our take on all of this is with The Pyramid, with Dance Moms, we wish Abby all the luck in
00:45what she's doing.
00:45All boats rise.
00:46It's funny.
00:47When we brought it up, she seemed to have a lot of thoughts.
00:49So there could be a world where like two Dance Mom musicals are happening at the same time.
00:53I think one will close quickly and the other will not, yes.
00:56Is that what you call it?
00:57Thought?
00:58What would you call it?
00:59I mean, she was throwing a lot of shade at you guys.
01:01Well, listen, I thought I needed to turn some lights on this morning, Mr. Candy Apples comment.
01:05We heard it.
01:06We heard it.
01:08What did I say?
01:09Yeah, the other one is like the Candy Apples version.
01:11Kathy was in the comments yesterday.
01:13Yeah, I saw that.
01:13She said, what does that mean?
01:14Oh my God, that's so funny.
01:15I worked on Dance Moms.
01:17I had always thought, gosh, this would make a great musical.
01:20Wrote it down, threw it in a drawer, never to see it again.
01:22I was out for mimosas one day, like five years later.
01:26Scrolling on TikTok and I came across the video with Izzy and James at the piano here in New York
01:30City saying, we think Dance Moms should be a musical and this would be Jill's big number.
01:34I like sat up through the mimosa cloud and was like, I have to talk to these people.
01:38And so I've been funding it for the past three years.
01:40Yes, we are launching a Kickstarter.
01:41Go to thepyramidmusical.com.
01:43Their thing is having a Kickstarter.
01:46Did Kander and Ebb and Bob Fosse have a Kickstarter for Chicago?
01:50I don't think so.
01:51Sorry, Bob Fosse.
01:52If Kickstarter was around, I'm sure Bob was smart enough.
01:55His whole thing is kicking.
01:56He would be like, all that cash, you know?
01:58Abby was dragging Christy.
01:59She said that Chloe wasn't talented because she wasn't as talented as she could because her mom pimped her out.
02:04I hope and pray that someday that child, I don't say her name, realizes that doing her meet and greets
02:11at the age of 12, building her parents a mansion, and it took her away from her dancing.
02:16So you saw her decline and other kids improved, but she just wasn't in class.
02:22And that was because her mother had that milk machine, that cow, and she had to pimp her out day
02:28in and day out, weekend after weekend, and it was very sad.
02:31And she did use the word pimp.
02:33She said that Christy was pimping her out.
02:34But in the way, like, to go to meet Ingrid, it's not.
02:37That line isn't in our musical.
02:40Christy and Chloe are at the center of our story.
02:42Oh, good.
02:43What's your message to Abby right now, Logan?
02:44Hi, Abby.
02:45Good morning.
02:48No, I used to wake her up.
02:49Abby is incredible.
02:50I mean, she is a pop culture icon.
02:53And the pyramid would not be happening if it wasn't for Abby Lee Miller.
