00:00Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly planning to keep their distance from Prince
00:03Harry and Meghan Markle, following the Sussexes' return to the UK.
00:07We've got more on the royal family's plans for Harry and Meghan's UK return in today's
00:11Page Six headlines.
00:13A friend of Prince William and Kate Middleton told the Daily Mail that it makes no difference
00:16where Harry and Meghan are living, saying that Prince and Princess of Wales will continue
00:20with their lives in public service and lead by example.
00:23Harry and Meghan returned to England last week with their children, Prince Archie and
00:27Princess Lilibet for an extended period, six years after stepping back from royal duties.
00:31Page Six reported that the couple moved back to be closer to King Charles, who is battling
00:35cancer, and to help their children build relationships with family while they continue their business
00:40ventures and look for a non-royal home, potentially in the Cotswolds.
00:44William and Kate have not publicly commented on the move, which royal insiders have said
00:48could create additional challenges for the future king, given the brothers' long-standing
00:52feud.
00:53The Sussexes and the Waleses have remained estranged following Harry and Meghan's public
00:57criticisms of the royal family, including their interview with Oprah Winfrey and Harry's
01:01memoir, Spare.
01:03For now, William and Kate appear focused on their royal duties, while Harry and Meghan settle
01:07into their return to the UK.
01:09Next, there's a major update in the case involving Kim Solsiak's 15-year-old son, K.J.
01:14Bierman.
01:15Bierman has officially been indicted in his sexual assault and sodomy case, according to documents
01:19obtained by Page Six.
01:20The teenager was indicted on September 3rd by a Georgia grand jury on seven charges, aggravated
01:26child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, three counts of aggravated
01:31sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment.
01:35Bierman has been held at Atlanta's Metro Regional Youth Detention Center since his August 17th
01:40arrest, and his attorney recently asked a judge to release him on bond, citing his good character,
01:45strong academics, football achievements, and ties to his family and community.
01:49His attorney has also maintained that Bierman is presumed innocent and has denied the allegations
01:54against him.
01:54The case remains ongoing as Bierman's legal team continues to fight the charges and seeks
01:59to protect the teenager's privacy.
02:01Finally, an internal investigation into former athletic reporter Diana Russini's work has
02:06found that her relationship with Mike Vrabel was a clear violation of the outlet's newsroom
02:10standards.
02:10The Athletics Editorial Director for Standards and Editorial Quality, Mike Semel, reviewed
02:15903 stories, 77 videos, and 204 episodes of the Scoop City podcast as part of the investigation.
02:23Semel concluded that regardless of whether Russini and Vrabel's relationship was romantic,
02:27it should have been disclosed, and that the situation undermined the audience's confidence
02:31in Russini's impartiality.
02:32However, he said he found no clear link showing that Russini used her platform to promote Vrabel
02:37or help his teams, noting that the vast majority of her work had nothing to do with him, his
02:42teams, or players they were pursuing.
02:45The investigation came after Page Six published photos of Russini and Vrabel, who were both
02:49married to other people, holding hands and hugging at an Arizona resort, both denied wrongdoing.
02:55Russini resigned from her role at the New York Times' sports site in April, and has stood
02:59by her work, while Vrabel continues to coach the New England Patriots.
03:03The Athletic has recommended additional disclosure and standards measures following the investigation,
03:08while Russini has yet to publicly comment on its findings.
