00:07The End
00:50Captain Video has led the people of Theros to a great victory over the invaders from Otoma.
00:56But now, Voltura makes a last desperate effort to avert defeat and disaster.
01:27I was packed into something. I couldn't get loose.
01:29You're short of the control board. Lucky for you, you had rubber soles on.
01:33I'm okay now.
01:35Is the atomic shower continuing?
01:37Yes, its force is increasing.
01:39Do you have any magnetic counterwave apparatus we could use to repel it?
01:42Yes, but it is not powerful enough.
01:45Coupled to a cosmic booster, it would be, though.
01:47Brilliant. I'll do it.
01:56The atomic shower is stalled.
01:59Perhaps we can turn it back on Voltura.
02:11You've done it.
02:13The atomic shower is moving back on Otomo.
02:16Your genius has saved us again.
02:19I'm glad to be of service to your people of Theros in their fight against the dictator Voltura.
02:24We'd better get back to where we left Dr. Tobor.
02:26Let's pick up our own clothes on the way.
02:55Dr. Tobor calling headquarters on Otomo.
02:58Dr. Tobor calling Voltura.
03:02Voltura speaks.
03:03Where are you?
03:04In the Theros control room.
03:06And it wasn't destroyed by the meteoric bombardment I created?
03:09No, there's apparently only slight damage.
03:13So it was Captain Video who succeeded in turning the cosmic mass back toward Otomo.
03:18It has caused much destruction and many fires here.
03:22Captain Video has done more than that.
03:24He caught me in the cave and took me to his landing craft to await a space rescue ship from
03:28Earth.
03:29I managed to escape so that I could report to you.
03:32Excellent.
03:33I shall order my men to destroy him and his landing craft.
03:36But you have no available forces.
03:39Your conquest of the planet may prove costly as Captain Video has armed the people of Theros against you.
03:44Does he suspect you of any treachery?
03:46I don't think so.
03:47But he might if he went to the landing craft and found that I'd gone.
03:51Then return there and make some excuse for your absence.
03:54But I don't understand.
03:56You will go the privilege of eliminating Captain Video.
04:04Dr. Tobor, we're back.
04:07He's gone.
04:10I told him to wait here.
04:11You don't suppose he deliberately sneaked out on us.
04:13Captain Video, help!
04:20Here they come.
04:21I'll break away and delay them.
04:23You make the getaway.
04:29He came back just in time.
04:31The soldiers found the landing craft and chased me into the rocks.
04:33Take him back to the compartment.
04:35I'm going after them.
04:37I'm going after them.
05:13You are most fortunate, man of Earth.
05:15These creatures of Altura are meant to harm you.
05:17They meant to kill me.
05:19I owe my life to you and your friends.
05:21We of Theros owe our liberty to you.
05:24And that is more precious than life itself.
05:27And you've proved that you'll fight to preserve it.
05:30I feel better about leaving now.
05:32Leaving?
05:32My friends and I are returning to Earth.
05:34As soon as our rescue spaceship arrives.
05:41What's that?
05:43Our atmospheric locator has picked up an impulse from some moving object.
05:47This may be what we're waiting for.
05:52Sub-stratosphere penetration at 2300 decimetres.
05:56I hope it's your spaceship.
05:58It can't be anything else with a signal output like that.
06:03I've set the automatic pilot.
06:05Our guided robot should land here in approximately one minute.
06:09Good old Gallagher.
06:10He came through.
06:12Let's go.
06:13Let's go.
06:14Oh, my God.
06:45See anything yet?
06:46Yes, they're taking off.
06:50Pressure density 0.7 degrees.
06:55Set the magnetic stabilizer.
06:59We've cleared the substratospheric wall.
07:03Next stop, Mother Earth.
07:08Our telefinder is centered on the space projectile returning to Earth.
07:14I'll give Dr. Tobor five minutes to complete his arrangements.
07:18Prepare to take control of the ship.
07:30What's the matter, doctor?
07:32I don't know.
07:34Dizzy.
07:36It came over me all at once.
07:39Maybe a touch of air sickness.
07:42Help Dr. Tobor into the rear compartment.
07:45Sure.
07:46No, no, it's not necessary.
07:47I'll be all right.
07:52I'll be all right.
08:03I'll be all right.
08:14I'll be all right.
08:16Do you notice anything strange stuff in here? That's it oxygen thinning on
08:26Turn up the pressure intake
08:42Spaceship is faltering now. We shall bring it here to Atoma vacuum lock one make contact
09:01Something's pulled us off course
09:07Controls frozen
09:29The automatic distress signal it's too faint for a local signal. I wonder if it could be from a spaceship
09:36See what you can pick up on the astro viewer
09:48Movie knob you get 11 11 perimeter sir. I'll try to identify it on the scanning device
10:00I've spotted it. It's the rescue ship we dispatched to Captain Video on Theris
10:08But it's veering away from Earth something's wrong
10:12That explains those distress signals. We'll cut in the robot pilot
10:16Projectiles moving away from us vacuum lock two before we lose it hurry
10:25Some strange force tugging at that spaceship
10:28We're breaking its grip our electronic stabilizers pulling it into the Earth's atmosphere
11:01You're here
11:01Pure air
11:02How'd you fix what was wrong?
11:04Gallagher fixed it
11:06He took over by remote and guided us into the Earth's air layer while we were passed out. We're okay
11:12We'll be safely home in 10 minutes
11:15Never mind that let it go for now
11:17The escape of Captain Video has forced me to change my plans
11:21The time has come to direct all further attacks against the planet Earth
11:26Contact Mobile Base 5 to stand by for instructions
11:35Go for now
11:58On
11:59The
12:00reporting. The explosion was felt throughout this area. It has feared all petroleum stores
12:05east of the supply depot were lost. Disaster equipment is being rushed to the spot. The
12:09cause of the explosion remains unknown. Agent 172, out.
12:13Another one? Another one. Here's seven more. An avalanche at Mountain City. The hydroelectric
12:19plant burned out at Westfield. The Riverview Dam went out. And three government warehouses
12:23collapsed, all within an hour. What do you make of it, Captain? I don't know, except that
12:28all these disasters seem to be tracing a definite course. Have you checked on the scanning device?
12:33No, I was going to.
12:44The blaze is completely out of control, enveloping the entire Mount Kelton area.
12:49Three-fourths of Morganville is underwater. The National Guard has been called out.
12:54The blast came without warning. What caused it remains a mystery.
13:00The pattern is very definite. Unless I'm mistaken, something should soon happen in the vicinity of Centerport.
13:06Agent 12 reporting. Several strange creatures resembling mechanical men have been seen in this area,
13:12advancing in the direction of Centerport. No further details.
13:16Gallagher, remain at your post. Doctors, stay here. You may be able to help. Ranger, we're leaving for Centerport
13:23to try to prevent a disaster before it happens.
13:53Captain Video, come in.
13:54Come here, quick!
14:04That should have stopped him.
14:40Come here.
14:42They walked out on us. Just like that.
14:45They're up to something.
14:46I'll turn on the radionic directional guide.
14:49What's the idea?
14:50I planted an open transmitter on one of those monsters.
14:53It'll put out a signal and we can follow.
14:56Wait here.
15:12They're headed toward the chemical factory.
15:26It's on fire inside.
15:28Wait here. I'll see if there's another way in.
15:34In the middle of the fire.
15:40No, no, no.

15:56No, no, no, no.
16:17What is to happen to Captain Video's jet mobile?
16:20Has Dr. Tobor taken command of Captain Video's control room?
16:24Be sure to see Entombed in Ice, the fourth action chapter of Captain Video at this theater next week.
