00:00Prime Minister, what does the biotapestry being at the British Museum mean for London and tourism
00:05for the capital? What a moment in history this is for London. A million people are going to come
00:11through over the next nine months and just think what this will mean for children. They will never
00:16forget this experience. London is the centre of the cultural world and this just cements that and
00:22that's the former mayor of Greater Manchester speaking. I recognise how amazing this institution
00:28is the British Museum but it's really good that the museum is also re-establishing connections
00:36with our European neighbours and engaging what I used to call as Culture Secretary,
00:41cultural diplomacy. How do you use culture to bring nations a bit closer back together again
00:47and we need more of that in the times in which we're living. I think it'll be an amazing nine
00:51months for London. Someone was telling me downstairs, well I'll name him, Danny Finkelstein was telling me
00:58that the tickets for the Bay of Tapestry are more sought after than Chelsea Arsenal which is saying
01:05something isn't it? But I think, I don't think he's exaggerating. I think there's a lot of demand,
01:09a lot of people want to come and see this.
