00:00It was a positive week for all London clubs in the Champions League with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal all winning.
00:07The Gunners are in an incredibly strong position both in the Premier League and the Champions League sitting at the top of the table in both competitions.
00:16Gabriel Jesus scored two goals in Arsenal's victory at the San Siro against Inter Milan and then on came the Swedish striker Victor Jokeres who scored from just outside the area as well.
00:27With both his strikers in form, the Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta gave an update on the forgotten man Kai Havertz and whether he will be back in the team any time soon too.
00:38Well he's very close, obviously he's been out for a long time, almost a year for different reasons and now we have to be very smart in the manner that we manage that load, the minutes and I'm sure in the next few weeks he's going to play minutes.
00:51I cannot say in which competition because that will depend as well on the game context and it's a context that is positive to throw him in or not with his qualities.
01:01And yeah, it's great that we have him, we can use him in different positions, we will see him in different positions and we are really happy to have him.
01:09Yes, because after a long time injury is not only the period that you come in, it's what happens in the next six to eight weeks and we want to maintain that and manage that really well so after we can creep it up, as you said, when all the big, big games are coming up and we have to make sure that everybody is in the right mind and physically at the highest level.
01:29Paul Palmer has had a tricky first half of the season as well, his campaign has been plagued with injuries, here's what Chelsea boss Liam Rosinia had to say about the attacking midfielder.
01:40I've had numerous conversations with Cole and he seems very, very happy to be here, he is very, very happy to be here, he's a huge part of our plans in the long term, he's an outstanding player, every player goes through difficult moments in their careers in terms of injury, I don't think it's any reflection on his quality, he's an outstanding footballer.
01:58But my job and the club's job is to get him in a place where he can consistently perform at the level that he wants to and there was frustration in the Brentford game, not because he wasn't happy here, just because he couldn't perform, he was in pain, he couldn't perform to the level he wanted to do for the club.
02:16He's a great kid and he's an outstanding player but we have to make sure that we look after him in the right way, that's why I haven't involved him in the last game.
02:24That's my job now, I want to look after the players, not to be nice to them, I want them to perform at their very peak level.
02:32So I think, not just in terms of Cole, there's a number of players in our group that we have to look after in a different way and not just force them out not to perform.
02:41I've got trust in the group, I've rotated with the squad and I'll continue to do that because I want us to be involved at the end of the season in big games and big competitions.
02:50So at the moment we're in January, I want to make sure all the players come through this period with wins but in full health and Cole's one of those players.
