00:00Hello, a couple of weeks ago I brought you here the repetition of the same column in two editions
00:06different, it was Álvaro Castillo's column, called In My Place, which normally appears in the
00:12Culture section on Mondays. Well, this week wasn't as bad as having repeated the same thing.
00:19column twice, but it's embarrassing to have to report again a careless error that already
00:26It seems like a lack of concern for that same column. It's a bit absurd that the person who set up the page...
00:32last Monday, don't have in your head that the column is called In My Place and have decided
00:38Use that name as the column title. But let's say I was distracted,
00:46What's even more unusual is that he could have believed that this column by this regular contributor could be
00:51To call a book, for me, is the greatest jewel. A book is a trunk of name for a column.
00:59Yes, we swapped the column name with the headline and everyone forgot about that outburst
01:06They noticed it here and it seemed normal. Otherwise, not much, except for a couple of grammatical issues with titles.
01:13which were caught and explained in Jalón de Orejas by Don Jairo Alberto. A gerund is not the same as
01:20a participle. And a verb is not the same as an adjective, Don Jairo Alberto reminded us in his
01:26A few scoldings. Although I think it was more of an oversight, really, writing without proofreading.
01:32that's a lack of knowledge. But yes, in a headline we talked about a leading engineer and
01:39Of course, the participle should have been used instead of that gerund. A brilliant engineer. And it took 72 hours.
01:46The president of Espriella made continuous investments to announce his radical change
01:51in peace and security policies regarding what was coming. But our headline, that adjective,
01:58continuous, we turned it into a verb by letting an accent mark slip in the wrong place. Supposedly hours
02:05We kept putting errors in that headline. I have no more errors to report this week and I just hope I don't attract them.
02:14By telling you here that we will have this weekend, starting Thursday night actually,
02:20and until the beginning of next week, Tuesday morning, a major technological transition.
02:26This may prevent us from reacting immediately with news on our page at times.
02:32Our website will be frozen at certain times, unable to include new content, while at other times you will be able to.
02:41We can add new content, but the page structure will be static and we won't be able to
02:47to prioritize certain content. In short, we may experience website glitches, so
02:52I ask for your patience. Everything is for the better, that's for sure. And if you want to stay up-to-date with the latest information,
02:59Well, we could use one of the many other platforms where we distribute our content. I hope not.
03:05Nothing to worry about, but it's best if you know beforehand that we're in that process. Well, that's all for now, see you later.
03:12Bye.
