00:04Let me now speak about a new force that has entered the cybersecurity and cybercrime.
00:10It is perhaps the biggest chain of all, generative AI.
00:15Generative AI is a new tool of our time, and it works on both sides of this fight.
00:21First, the threat.
00:23AI gives criminals new weapons.
00:26AI writes flawless scam messages in any language.
00:31AI clones a voice from a few seconds of audio.
00:36AI creates deep fake videos that look and sound real.
00:40AI can run thousands of scam conversations at the same time and learn from each one.
00:47AI helps criminals write malicious code and find weak points in our systems.
00:53Crime has become faster, cheaper, and harder to trace.
00:59Second, the shield.
01:01AI also gives us new defenses.
01:04AI can spot fraud patterns that no human eye can see.
01:09AI can scan millions of transactions and flag the one that is wrong.
01:13AI can help our investigators as they mean huge volumes of digital evidence in hours, not months.
01:22AI can help detect deep fakes, trace stolen money, and warn us before an attack happens.
01:30And for our officers, analysts, and prosecutors, AI is a force multiplier.
01:35The same technology that empowers the criminal also empowers the defenders.
01:42The side that understands it better will win.
01:45If criminals learn AI faster than our defenders, we will lose this fight, no matter how much technology we buy.
01:55So, there must be serious and continuous investment in skills and human capital.
02:02Our officers must be trained to use AI tools.
02:05Our prosecutors and judges must understand digital evidence.
02:09Our agencies need data scientists and analysts, not only detectives.
02:14Our universities must produce graduate fluence in both security and AI.
02:19And everyone in this field must keep learning because AI itself keeps changing.
02:26For KDN and Royal Malaysian Police, we focus on three things.
02:31Stronger laws, stronger enforcement, and stronger partnerships.
02:37Alright, everyone seems in position.
02:40We have everyone looking towards the camera and smile.
02:43So, tahap kesediaan staff di KDN untuk embrace AI berada pada tahap 75%.
02:50Jadi, termasuklah enforcement, kita ada immigration, ada enforcement, polis ada enforcement, JPN ada enforcement, penjara pun ada.
02:59Sebagai minister, saya set direction.
03:01Saya provide leadership, saya facilitate.
03:03Saya tunjukkan.
03:25Tentulah keseruannya belum.
03:27Sebab saya masih nampak banyak ruang lagi.
03:29Apakah kita bergerak ke arah itu?
03:31Ya.
03:31Apakah kita bersedia?
03:33Komitmen itu?
03:33Jawapannya saja.
03:34Di bahagian pengatkuasa, lebih-lebih lagi.
03:37Terutama, polis yang sekarang memimpin NSRC.
03:41Teknologi, menguasai teknologi AI adalah perasyarat.
