00:01Hello friends! Ukrainian Army pilots are still using the roads to get to work. First, because
00:08they can blend in with the traffic. And second, because Ivan interferes with the GPS signal near
00:14the front. So they need alternative ways to know where they are. Speaking of helicopters, that was
00:21way too close. A Mi-17 HIP helicopter donated by the United States to the Ukrainian Army aviation
00:27narrowly avoided being hit by a Russian attack drone guided by fiber optics in the Donetsk sector.
00:34The pilot performed an evasive maneuver at the last moment, preventing the attack drone from hitting the
00:39tail rotor of the defender's aircraft. Ukraine has already shot down several Russian helicopters using
00:45small drones. The most recent was a Mi-28 inside Belgorod Oblast, hunted down by a Shrike from
00:51the 427th Radoch Unmanned Systems Brigade. A Ukrainian operator with ice-cold blood in his
01:00veins performed an epic evasive maneuver to save his ground drone from an attack drone. From Ivan,
01:05whom he dodged with a sharp U-turn, a move that left the Russians spinning helplessly in mid-air,
01:10causing him to crash without doing any damage.
01:18During the night, a fierce aerial battle continues between the defenders and the swarms of attack
01:23drones that the Russians launch against Ukrainian cities. To repel these incursions, the Ukrainians
01:29are using every means at their disposal, including all two S-6 Tunguska systems NATO designations 19
01:36Grisson. Ex-Soviet mobile anti-aircraft vehicles, of which Ukraine has 75 units. These have been
01:43upgraded to integrate their targeting system into the Battlefield Management Network, Delta, which
01:49allows them to operate with their radars turned off so as not to reveal their position. If it's old but
01:55it works, then it's not old. In addition, Western optical sights and thermal cameras have been installed
02:00to improve their visual targeting against Jiren 4 jet drones, both day and night.
02:06This has significantly increased their combat capability, something that was demonstrated
02:11when one of these units managed to shoot down more than 20 Garand drones in a single night as
02:15they passed through their area of responsibility, in the Sumi region.
02:24On the naval sanctions front? In this video, we see how a Ukrainian long-range attack drone,
02:29FP-2, strikes the container ship RMS team, which sails under the flag of Barbados,
02:34and was towed on August 31 to the Turkish port of Samsun. You can see that its superstructure
02:41collapsed due to the fire caused by the attack and that the containers show clear signs of having
02:45been exposed to the flames. The 147-meter-long ship operated by the Turkish company Akon Lines was
02:52sailing from Gemlik to the Russian port of Novorossiysk when it was hit outside that port on August 21.
02:58The operator Akon Lines reported that the crew abandoned the ship after the attack. A nearby vessel,
03:05the Pirihan leader, rescued 11 of the 12 sailors. One crew member remains missing.
03:11After the evacuation, the fire spread through the accommodation block and the engine room before
03:16extending to the stacks of containers. In an emergency notice to its clients, Akon stated that the vessel and
03:22its cargo suffered a total constructive loss, meaning that repairing it would not be economically viable.
03:28The RMS team, built in 2004 and with the capacity to carry about 1,100 TEUs, was a regular visitor
03:36to
03:36Novorossiysk. With tracking records showing 61 previous calls, including three in 2026, it was not part of the
03:44sanctioned shadow fleet of oil tankers. The arrival of the burned RMS team in Samsun coincides with the
03:50grounding of the Golden Sapling, another damaged oil tanker. Oil spilled into the sea near the coast
03:56of Alakkam after its crew was evacuated. This series of incidents has increased diplomatic friction
04:03between Ankara and Kyiv regarding the security of commercial maritime transport in the Eastern Black
04:08Sea and with the risk for Turkish-operated vessels that sail between Turkish and Russian ports.
04:15Search efforts for the missing sailor continue while the port authorities of Samsun assess the wreckage,
04:22now docked in their port. This already looks like the Sargasso Sea because yet another abandoned ship
04:28has run aground in Turkey. This time it's the Russian dry cargo ship Omski-107, 108 meters long,
04:35which ran aground on Sunday, August 30th, off Alakali beach in the Şil district of Istanbul. After drifting
04:42without a crew in the Black Sea for almost a month. The ship, whose last location was recorded near
04:49Novorossiysk, around August 2nd arrived at the coast with the bridge and superstructure severely damaged,
04:55in addition to showing clear signs of fire and without its lifeboats. Turkish Coast Guard teams
05:01arrived at the scene after residents reported that a large vessel was heading toward the coast. In the part
05:07mistransmitted, it was that he was stopping the state of the ship. In this case, No. 92 Primera-X
05:12remains novel in handling deep prisons. A short distance from one of the Omske is in charge of
05:17maritime tracking data, indicating that the MESQ-107 last transmitted signals. There, near Novorossiysk,
05:24on August 2nd, where it was attacked by Ukrainian aerial drones that forced the crew to evacuate.
05:29From that point, it traveled approximately 800 kilometers west, carried by the currents of the Black Sea,
05:35until it ran aground on August 30th. It's surprising that it traveled all that distance and ended up
05:41stranded on the Turkish coast without the navy or coast guard of that country intercepting it offshore
05:46to prevent this, with all the risks that implies. Honestly, it doesn't give me much confidence in
05:51the capabilities of those forces or in the NATO units operating in the area. In attacks on Ivan's
06:00logistics chain, during the night of August 30th, the defenders launched a coordinated operation with
06:06cruise missiles, which struck several targets in the Russian border city of Belgorod.
06:12The offensive began shortly after a missile threat alert was issued, around 1653 local time.
06:19Within minutes, explosions were reported throughout the city. Open-source images and local reports
06:27confirmed strikes at the Belgorod power plant, where fuel tanks and several buildings caught fire.
06:34State logistics warehouses were also hit, which are used by the company Ozone as a sorting and
06:39distribution center, as well as the local television tower, which caused a disruption of digital broadcasts
06:45for the residents of the region. Apparently, the local air defenses failed to intercept the Ukrainian missiles.
06:53For its part, Ozone confirmed that its logistics center in Belgorod was affected and that the impact
06:59caused a fire in the facilities, so its employees were evacuated. The company immediately suspended
07:05the receipt of orders and deliveries throughout the Belgorod region while it reorganizes its logistics
07:10in the area, although I doubt that the Ukrainians are willing to help them with that task.
07:15On the Special Operations Front, the Security Service of Ukraine, the SBU carried out a long-range drone
07:23attack on the Engels II airbase in the early morning of August 28 in Russia's Saratov region, about 800
07:30kilometers from Ukrainian territory. The main target was a Tuesday 1995 MS strategic bomber, an aircraft that
07:38Russia uses to launch Kh-101 cruise missiles, Kh-555 and Kh-55 against targets in Ukraine.
07:47Satellite images published by analysis groups revealed the structure. Analysts who follow the Ukrainian
07:53service said the strike was carried out with long-range capability. The structure was revealed.
08:01Analysts who monitor the activity of the base evaded Engels II in Russia's Saratov region.
08:07It was a 95 MS aircraft. Satellite images from the SVU show a 95 MS bomber, an aircraft that Russia
08:17uses to launch missiles at targets in Ukraine. Images from July 16 and 17 show that a similar
08:23attack completely destroyed the tail section of another aircraft of the same type, also confirmed
08:28by satellite images. Both damaged planes remain visible on the base's runway, along with at least
08:33two Tuesday 160 aircraft. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the operation and attributed its
08:39execution to the Alpha Special Operations Unit of the SVU. According to the official statement from the
08:46SVU, the drones also preliminarily hit an ammunition depot and a fuel and lubricants warehouse at the same facility.
