01:16Unlike the Magura V-5 and V-7, which are mainly designed for direct attacks against Russian ships,
01:21this platform is conceived as a mother ship. It can carry a payload, it has a payload capacity
01:28of 2,200 kilos thanks to its 10 cubic meters of internal space, and it is capable of launching,
01:34recovering, and resupplying other unmanned systems, both aerial and naval.
01:38The configuration revealed today features three rows of six individual containers on deck.
01:44Each box houses a STIN, an electric quadcopter weighing about 4 kilos with a small explosive warhead.

02:23During the early hours of September 4, 2026, Ukrainian mosquito drones struck energy and
02:30military infrastructure around the Russian resort city of Sochi and in the federal territory
02:34of Sirius in Krasnodar Krai. The operation caused fires in at least two oil depots and secondary
02:42explosions at an S-300 or S-400-type air defense position located near the settlement of Krasnodar Krai.
02:50According to the Russian outlet Astra, the mosquito drones hit the Rosnev company's depot in the Adler district
02:57next to Sochi International Airport and the Luke oil facilities in Sirius. The latter have 12 tanks and a storage
03:05capacity of approximately 8,400 cubic meters. One of the affected sites was the Bato Aviation Fuel Terminal,
03:14which supplies airfields throughout the Krasnodar region. The previous day in the port of the same city,
03:22the multi-purpose logistics ship Nefrid was attacked by at least two Magura drones. One of them struck the hull
03:29of the vessel. The operator of the second one apparently lost situational awareness and delayed the attack
03:35inside the dock, which allowed Russian defenses to activate and destroy it a short distance from its target.
03:41The Nefrid is a vessel approximately 90 meters long, registered in St. Petersburg, which until now operated in the
03:48Novorossiysk area. It normally supports offshore oil and gas extraction operations, and its tasks include
03:55transporting cargo and personnel, as well as underwater engineering work. The Ukrainian Navy considers it
04:02part of Russia's maritime and energy infrastructure that supports the invaders' war economy. The strike
04:08extends the reach of Ukraine's naval campaign much further east of Novorossiysk and even puts high-profile
04:15tourist ports at risk. Sochi is more than 560 km in a straight line from the nearest Ukrainian coast.
04:22The city had already been attacked with aerial drones, but this was the first incursion with surface
04:28drones against its port. The volume of Ukrainian naval and aerial drones operating over the Black Sea
04:35has forced the invaders to use their Ka-52 alligator attack helicopters on offshore patrols in order to shoot
04:42down as many radars as possible. In this case, we see a video of the aircraft, which manages to shoot
04:49down several drones with light air-to-air missiles. The footage was published by Russian channels on
04:56Telegram, and in it you can see how the electro-optical sensor of the K-52 tracks the target silhouetted

05:10and close air support. Over time, it has increasingly taken on maritime patrol duties as Ukrainian unmanned
05:17systems have intensified their operations in the eastern Black Sea. Russian sources indicate that some
05:23K-52s received modifications to their sensors and weaponry during 2026 to improve the detection of small
05:30low-signature aerial targets and to employ infrared-guided missiles at greater distances than the
05:36helicopter's fixed 30-millimeter cannon. In the released images, the helicopter's electro-optical and
05:43infrared system detects the drones against the sea surface. After that, the crew fires E-Glass missiles,
05:50the airborne variants of the Manbats family used by the invaders' infantry. These weapons use passive
05:57infrared-seekers and offer a range of several kilometers, allowing the crew to stay outside the
06:02immediate radius of many one-way attack drones. On the air defense front, Ukraine's 1020th
06:10Anti-Aircraft Regiment confirmed the operational arrival of the first anti-aircraft guns, self-propelled
06:16Rheinmetall SkyRanger 35, mounted on refurbished Leopard 1-tank chassis. This marks the public debut of the
06:25tracked variant, designed to give Ukrainian ground units short-range, highly mobile protection against drones,
06:31cruise missiles, and loitering munitions flying at low altitude. The regiment commander described the
06:37platform as a revolutionary breakthrough compared to previous systems and added that it looks like a
06:43spaceship because of the large number of new technologies incorporated into the unmanned turret.
06:48He also said that his unit was among the first to receive the equipment, which tells us that there
06:52are already several of these vehicles in service. The Skyranier 35 combines a KDG-35 revolver cannon with a rate
06:59of
06:59fire of up to 1,000 rounds per minute inut and programmable airburst ammunition of 35 BDG-228
07:06millimeters, which detonates in front of the target and releases a cloud of sub-projectiles. Its
07:11effective range is approximately 4 kilometers. For reconnaissance and fire control, the turret is
07:17equipped with an integrated AESA search radar, a second tracking radar, and an electro-optical system
07:23that enables automatic target acquisition and engagement. This makes it especially suitable
07:28for countering low-flying drone swarms. The Leopard chassis, the one it is mounted on, allows the
07:33cannon to accompany maneuver units. It maneuvers in difficult terrain, close to the front line, and
07:38gives it mobility and protection that other systems lack. Reinmetall integrated the turret at its Italian
07:45subsidiary in Rome, using refurbished Leopard 1 hulls from Belgian depots, instead of reusing Ukrainian
07:51frontline tanks. The contract was announced by Reinmetall in October 2025 and is valued at several
07:58hundred million euros. It is financed by a European Union member state, whose name has not been disclosed,
08:04using funds from the freezing of Russian assets. It is estimated that Ukraine will end up receiving at
08:10least a couple dozen of these systems, some of which are already defending the airspace of their new country.
