00:00An interesting one last night, in fact, where you and I said it, your boy Strock there on the Mets,
00:10we had said if the Mets were going to win a game, their best shot at doing it was likely
00:15going to be last night.
00:16Well, they won a game last night. Now, Freddie Peralta, ironically enough, is on a mound for the Rays at
00:23home, taking on Manea of the Mets here. And it's certainly cheap enough price to think that the Rays can
00:32bounce back at home unless, I mean, you were never a big Freddie P guy, but it looks like he
00:37has figured some things out here over the last couple of starts, Craig.
00:42Yeah, boy, like it's really hard to click that minus 135 button or whatever it is with Tampa Bay tonight,
00:49just because Peralta has not been that good. But the thing is with him, you pull him out, Joe, after
00:55the third, fourth inning, and Tampa Bay throws seven other guys at you, and you still think that you could
01:00win the game. I would be very surprised if the Rays lost this series. I really would.
01:04Now, you know, I like Robert Stock, and I'm happy for him that he had a really good game last
01:09night. Went about five innings, I think, and didn't really give up much, by the way, and then the Mets
01:13ended up winning that game.
01:14But I think the table's turned today. I may be a little bit more interested in this total, Joe. This
01:19feels very low. Seven and a half for these two starting pitchers tonight?
01:23I mean, Minaya's not good. And, you know, Peralta is going to be better as the season goes on, but
01:30he is very prone to the long ball as well.
01:32So I may think over on the seven and a half, and then, you know, the other guy, too. I
01:37mean, it seems like easy. I mean, look, I don't know about an easy, but potential home run would be
01:41Junior Caminero tonight.
01:42I would think that he's got a great shot tonight to hit a home run off Sean Minaya.
01:47Yeah, I'm looking at, you know, the Mets over recently, too. I mean, one run, two runs, maybe two. They
01:54haven't scored a ton. They got three runs last night.
01:58But the bats have cooled down a little bit. It's, you just got to think that the Rays, at least,
02:06I think the Rays team total might not be a bad way to look either here,
02:10as it's been going back and forth from seven and a half to eight in this one, but they have
02:15been good at home.
02:18And I just thought the Mets were fortunate to walk away with that win last night.
