Dog Tries To Engage Quiet Tortoise But Gets No Reaction

Not every introduction turns into a game.

Dana shared footage from Anderson, South Carolina, showing Gizmo the dog lingering near Thelma the tortoise as the moment unfolds. Gizmo stays close and repeatedly tries to engage Thelma, shifting around her and watching for a response. Thelma remains still with her head tucked inside her shell, offering no visible reaction.

The contrast between Gizmo’s persistence and Thelma’s quiet retreat gives the scene its simple rhythm, ending on a calm note.
