00:00Did you notice that Peter Quill's eyes turned red during Thanos' snap in Avengers, Infinity War, unlike everyone else, who
00:05turned gray and brown with the natural coloring of the transformation into dust?
00:08And my theory is that Peter Quill is a god, and he couldn't simply be turned into dust and have
00:13his soul kept inside the soul gem.
00:14Because all gods and divine beings go to a different state when they die, so the only solution the infinity
00:18gems found was simply to erase his body from existence using only the reality gem.
00:22Peter Quill was an exception, having to be simply deleted because the soul gem could not contain his divine soul.
00:27And this probably must have happened with other celestial beings as well, since Thanos eliminated half of all life of
00:32the heroes.
00:33This probably included celestial beings clearly not of extreme power, such as Eternity or the Living Tribunal.
00:37So, in Eternals, we see that Tiamut was not eliminated, they only delayed his birth.
00:41What if this visual difference was actually a clue left by the directors?
