Palace Undersecretary Claire Castro on Tuesday, Sept. 1, responded to calls to temporarily waive NLEX toll fees for motorists affected by hours-long traffic caused by severe flooding along parts of the expressway.

Castro said that making the toll free could encourage more motorists to use NLEX and worsen the traffic situation. (Video courtesy of RTVM)
