Jerry asks George how long you’re actually supposed to keep a greeting card and naturally George has a rule ready to go. He confidently declares there’s a two-day minimum before admitting he just made the whole thing up.

The conversation gets even more Seinfeld when Jerry questions why anyone saves cards without a mantel prompting George to wonder how different his life might have been if his parents had one.

Seinfeld is available to stream on Netflix.
