00:13Ah, that's great stuff. Thanks very much. Wonderful. That should be more than enough.
00:16Great craftsmanship as always. All right, so lads, you know where to put them. Don't dilly-dally.
00:22The guests are arriving soon.
00:27Give my regards to the ma. Hope she's well.
00:30Very soon.
00:33Twenty-three people from across Ireland are on their way to Slain Castle in the heart of Ireland's ancient East.
00:42Don't like to see who's in all these little cars.
00:44They're ready to play the ultimate murder mystery game in the hope of winning up to 50,000 euro.
00:53They must work together in epic missions to earn that prize money.
00:59How long have we been in here?
01:02But concealed amongst them are the traitors who will secretly meet and murder the faithful under the cover of darkness.
01:12Anybody want to start?
01:13Did you say that I was an aggressive player?
01:15Yes.
01:16So it's up to the faithful to find the traitors.
01:18It's not the behavior of a faithful.
01:21Would you murder her or would you recruit her and why?
01:23And banish them before they become their next victim.
01:27It's all chaos.
01:28If I was a traitor, I would be loving this.
01:32Who will live?
01:34Who will die?
01:36This is the traitors.
02:00I love games and this game is just perfection.
02:03Perfect combination of strategy, social gaming and of chance.
02:09I'm Horik. DJ. DJ. DJ. DJ. Horik. Carla. Carla.
02:15It is a nervous time meeting the other contestants for the first time.
02:19So what do you do yourself for? What do you all do?
02:22I work for the HSE. I'm an IT support technician.
02:25Are they telling you they're real age? Are they telling you they're real occupation?
02:28Nice, love you guy that works in a nursing home. Helping the other list.
02:34I'm a writer. Amazing!
02:37I won't be telling anybody that I'm a qualified psychotherapist.
02:44I work in a male dominated industry. I have a family full of boys.
02:49If I'm a mommy, I've got three kids.
02:51We're playing that hard line.
02:55I can sniff out when there's something not quite right.
02:58These three guys were in the car instantly. I'm like, you can be my sons.
03:03I'll look after all of you.
03:04But we're in alliance anyway already.
03:05Of course, I can handle three boys.
03:08That sounded worse than I had.
03:18OK, pinch me a moment.
03:21Oh, my God. Look, they're all masked, you know.
03:28I have never, ever been away, like, from home by myself, ever.
03:33It's only a game, lads. It's only a game.
03:47Oh, it gets her open, lads.
03:50Oh, my God!
03:51Yes!
03:52Oh, that's amazing!
03:53Oh, my God.
03:54Oh, the ice!
03:59We're in it now, that's perfect.
04:01It's now going back.
04:12Oh, my God, it's huge.
04:14Oh, wow.
04:15I was right, it's fabulous.
04:17All your life as a mother is given over to your children and your family.
04:22I think it's a little adventure.
04:25Before I'm pushing up daisies.
04:39Oh, I see Siobhan!
04:40Really?
04:41Is wearing a black dress.
04:43Queen of the castle.
04:45She could literally tell you to leave the castle there in one act.
04:48Or she'd say, go up there and, look, you're sitting in the high chair tonight, lads.
04:51Oh, my God, guys!
04:53My pants are sweaty.
04:54Guys!
04:56My strategy, not to make any friends.
04:59Just to murder everyone off and skip away with the money.
05:10Love your hair.
05:12That has to go up and it matches.
05:13It's apple pie!
05:14Oh, jeez.
05:15Best of luck, yeah?
05:16Best of luck.
05:20Oh, here we go.
05:22This is scary.
05:24That's the first time I get to see the other players in the game.
05:30We're looking up and in the line at each other and kind of sussing each other out.
05:35Dennis, I think, with his hat, certainly struck out for me.
05:38Or maybe put a target on his back between just suss.
05:41Oh, jeez, there's so many of us.
05:43I'm trying to see, is anyone looking at somebody else, trying to give a little wink or a sideways glance.
05:48I see the dogs.
05:50I know they're very well-behaved.
05:52I know they're very well-behaved.
05:55Cid me la falte.
05:57Welcome, welcome, welcome to lovely Traitor's Castle here at Slane.
06:02How are you all doing?
06:04Woo!
06:04Yeah?
06:05Yeah, well, let me burst that bubble nice and early.
06:10For whatever notion you think you have of what happens behind those doors, you haven't got a clue.
06:23I can see nervous little faces. I can see lots of nervous little faces. In fact, I can see...
06:29One, two, three, four...
06:33Oh, my God, she starts counting.
06:38Twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three.
06:41Everyone's heart as she, like, froze.
06:43I don't know if I'm even getting my feet in today's castle doors.
06:46Twenty-three.
06:50Nearly too many, isn't it?
06:55I'm trying to kind of be as small as possible, but she's staring at me.
06:59One too many.
07:01Stomach drops.
07:03Someone's going straight away.
07:06Ashley, you can all go in.
07:11Oh, my God, the reaction was unbelievable.
07:18For now.
07:21Well, on you go. Have a cup of tea.
07:23Welcome.
07:24Emma, thank God we're getting in the door.
07:27It's amazing, I know.
07:29Everyone's feeling really good.
07:31Except someone of us is going to be murdered tonight.
07:34Wait, where's the jacks?
07:36I'm dying.
07:48Oh, my God.
07:50Oh!
07:51Oh, it's lovely, isn't it?
07:52Isn't it?
07:53Booty.
07:54Oh, look at this.
07:55Wait, no, me picture.
07:57Oh, my God, we've got butchered on the wall.
07:58Oh, no.
07:59Oh, my God.
08:01The paintings on the wall, the drapery, the couches.
08:06It's like Downton Abbey or something, isn't it?
08:08Welcome home.
08:09No, I'd be down in the kitchen, I can tell you.
08:13What do you do?
08:13I teach drama to kids.
08:16What do you say?
08:16A drama teacher?
08:18I had decided not to divulge that I'm an actor.
08:21It's my job to persuade people that I'm somebody I'm not.
08:25You sell car parts.
08:27Parts?
08:27Any parts you sell one?
08:29That's for me.
08:29That's for you.
08:30Open, no fee.
08:32So, I'm a car salesman.
08:33People think, like, we tell a lot of lies and stuff like that.
08:37Coming in to the castle, I was thinking,
08:38OK, I need to slightly change my job here now.
08:41If anyone quizzed me about being a parts manager,
08:44I was like, I can name every part of the car.
08:46The parts department, there's three of us there,
08:48Cian and John Paul.
08:50Oh, you see, when they give too much information,
08:52there's something that's rehearsed.
08:53And then, of course, Fenula comes on and she goes,
08:56Oh, what do you do with your job?
08:57You'll want me your car break down someday,
08:58and you'll be ringing me.
08:59Oh, jeez, I tell you, I'm just going to the nearest carriage.
09:03So, how are you feeling?
09:04What's your name?
09:04Horig.
09:05Oh, is there two Horig's?
09:08Horig, that's the other one.
09:09What's up, man?
09:10Horig, nice to meet you.
09:11You're Horig.
09:12My name is Horig, I'm 31,
09:14I'm from Tipperary,
09:15and I am a singer-songwriter.
09:16You said it too Horig?
09:18We are, yes.
09:18Is it spelled?
09:19Is it spelled the same way?
09:20No, it's different.
09:21He's a father.
09:22I don't.
09:22If you're a musician or a singer-songwriter,
09:24and you're putting yourself out there online,
09:26you have to have that thick skin,
09:28so if people were to come at me at the round table,
09:30I reckon I'd be well prepared and well able for it.
09:32I'm from Fingles.
09:33Oh, lovely, man.
09:34Yeah, two of my best friends are from Fingles.
09:35I'm not a one of your best friends.
09:37You're talking.
09:38You're talking.
09:39You're talking.
09:40You're talking about me.
09:41All nice people, I have to say.
09:42So far, so good.
09:44But it's the start, so maybe in a few days,
09:47we might have different opinions of each other.
09:53Where are you from, again?
09:54Kildare Town.
09:55Kildare, okay.
09:56You're Dublin?
09:57Dublin, yeah.
09:58I'm David.
09:59I'm from Dublin.
09:59I'm married to Colum,
10:01and we have seven-year-old twins.
10:03How long have you been with your husband?
10:05Oh, God, a long time.
10:06I would say I'm good at keeping secrets.
10:08Growing up gay in Ireland,
10:10you kind of keep secrets for a while
10:13until you're ready to let people know who you really are,
10:16especially when I was growing up.
10:17How about you? Were you single?
10:18I'm single.
10:19Yeah.
10:20Yeah.
10:21I don't want people knowing that I'm a psychotherapist
10:24because I don't want them to think
10:25that I have a certain level of people skills
10:28that could give me an advantage.
10:29It's kind of came out of a long, long relationship.
10:32Right.
10:32So, yeah.
10:33You learn how to read people very, very quickly,
10:36to develop trust with people.
10:38I'm so glad there's been a gay person.
10:39I know, I know, I know.
10:42I was like, I thought I'd be the only one.
10:44Yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:45And I was good, yeah.
10:46So I think all of those things could lure people
10:50into a false sense of security.
10:54This is great, by the way.
10:56I'm...
10:56You're all great.
10:58I'm going for faithful Barbie vibes.
11:02A faithful Barbie?
11:03A faithful Barbie.
11:04A faithful Barbie.
11:05I have really been coming across as quite gullible
11:07and quite silly
11:09and really leaning into that dumb blonde moment.
11:12I have loads of reasons why I want to be a faithful.
11:14Any girl traitors
11:16would have to go back, double cleanse,
11:19do all their skin care, do their hair.
11:21Oh, I never do that.
11:21Yeah, it's so much longer.
11:23The male privilege of being a traitor,
11:24they don't have to do that shit.
11:31Make yourself comfy.
11:33Look at your lovely frock.
11:34Look at your lovely frock.
11:37Are you hiding anything?
11:38Just a few things under my hat.
11:41Look at these colours.
11:42What are you trying to say by wearing this?
11:45Innocence.
11:46Are you innocent?
11:47Not really.
11:51Why did you decide to apply?
11:53To walk the walk.
11:53Get in the ring yourself.
11:54Put the money where the mouth is.
11:56I have Tourettes,
11:57which is a lot of physical tics,
11:59and they can make me seem shifty.
12:01I might act up on it a little bit where I need to.
12:03You're willing to act up on your Tourettes
12:06to get what you want?
12:07Yeah, it doesn't make me sound good, does it?
12:08You're talking to Lady Muck here.
12:13I just think everyone's lying to me.
12:15Right.
12:15Trust nobody.
12:16Who hurt you?
12:17I know.
12:18Who didn't?
12:20Would you like to be a traitor?
12:22I would.
12:23Traitor.
12:23Traitor.
12:24Traitor.
12:24And why?
12:25It's the name of the game, isn't it?
12:26Yeah, absolutely.
12:28Yeah, it is.
12:28It is.
12:29True.
12:30It is.
12:33I'm an assistant professor of information and communication studies.
12:37What causes people to think the way they think?
12:41What kind of seeds of discontent and chaos can you sow
12:43to really get ideas to catch fire?
12:4650,000 euro.
12:47What would you do with that money?
12:49It's not necessarily about the money for me.
12:51It's more the winning.
12:53Do you think everybody has been honest to you so far?
12:56I trust no one here.
12:58I'm prepared to stab people in the back and the front.
13:01Sometimes it's better to see the reaction on their face when they know what's happening.
13:14Welcome to the round table.
13:19Things are about to get real.
13:21For in a while, I will choose my traitors.
13:25And from then on, your perception of reality, of what happens within these walls, is all you'll have to go
13:32on.
13:35The time has come.
13:37The game is about to begin.
13:41Please put on your blindfolds.
14:03You could actually feel the heart pounding your chest.
14:15If you feel me touch you on your shoulder, it means that you are a traitor.
14:37I'm sweating profusely.
14:39It's just, it's terrifying.
14:42You can feel her brushing past.
14:44She's over there.
14:45Next thing, she'll appear behind you.
14:49I am hoping for a tap on the shoulder.
14:52Praying for a tap on the shoulder.
15:04Oh God.
15:06Is it going to happen?
15:10And then I felt.
15:15And I knew I had got what I hoped for.
15:18I am a traitor.
15:30Oh my God.
15:32There it was.
15:33The tap on the shoulder.
15:34And I said to myself, oh my God.
15:36I am Biddy to her Miley.
15:38It's game on.
15:51Oh yes.
15:52It feels really, really good to be a traitor.
15:57If I'm not murdering people, someone was going to have to murder me.
15:59So I'm happy to take that role.
16:06I have selected my traitors.
16:10And the game has officially begun.
16:12Remove your blindfolds.
16:27Can you see?
16:30Or are you more in the dark than ever?
16:34Who now is who?
16:39Traitors, you will meet later on tonight and find out exactly who is who.
16:45Your job now is to remain out of sight and murder the faithful.
16:53My darling faithful.
16:55If there are any traitors left at the end of this game, you will have lost every penny you've won.
17:05Now that sounds like a lot.
17:07I'm sure you're all in need of some refreshment.
17:10Which is great because we have some ready for you.
17:13Which also means that this part of the selection process is over.
17:21However, the traitors selection process is not finished.
17:26Sorry, I probably should have told you that.
17:29Anyway, enjoy your tea.
17:31Bye.
17:33What?
17:34What does that mean?
17:36What does that mean?
17:38She's a curveball.
17:39We're all kind of thinking, has she chosen everyone?
17:43Did the selection happen or not?
17:45What did she say when she left?
17:46She said the traitors selection isn't over.
17:49You can just see that people are like, huh?
17:51What did you say?
17:52What if she didn't even pick anybody?
17:55I never even thought of that.
17:56Like what an absolute waste of time if it wasn't for real.
17:59So you don't think anyone has been picked?
18:00There's a lot going on here.
18:04This is a mad scene.
18:06This is a madness.
18:09Everybody is eyeballing.
18:10Everybody.
18:11I'm like, right, act natural, act natural, act natural.
18:16There's an old saying when you're an actor, to be a good actor, stop acting, start being.
18:21Oh, you didn't know where to look or what to do.
18:23I know.
18:24Do you know?
18:24It's like, oh my gosh.
18:26I just got into that zone and that place where, yeah, I am a faithful.
18:30Your picture on the wall, you look like a painting.
18:35Aw.
18:35All your shorts are pearl earring.
18:38Beautiful.
18:38That will get you everywhere.
18:41Oh, lads.
18:43The paranoia certainly does set in.
18:48Christ.
18:49Any vibes coming to you?
18:51From anywhere?
18:52Probably carrying this board and I'm like, like, everyone's out to get me now.
18:57No one's trusting anyone now.
18:58No.
18:59Parano.
18:59Everyone's suspicious.
19:01What are you thinking?
19:02What are you thinking?
19:02I don't know.
19:03I genuinely don't know.
19:04I'm disappointed, I'll be honest.
19:06I'm so disappointed.
19:07Come on.
19:08Let's catch some traitors.
19:09Let's catch some traitors.
19:16With some of the traitors selected, the players now mix and mingle in the castle and begin to play the
19:23game.
19:23Oh, I'm going to walk out of here and I'm going to get a cup of tea.
19:26And it was like, bam, like straight in.
19:28What are you?
19:29I'm faithful.
19:31Someone has all teeth.
19:32They're already suspicious of you.
19:33Of course they are.
19:34Like, I'm like big and bubbly.
19:36Like, that sounds fucking stupid.
19:37When Siobhan called traitors, Janet, she could have looked as if she was called.
19:46Are you faithful?
19:47I'm a faithful.
19:48Okay.
19:49I believe you.
19:50It kind of feels like no one's your friend.
19:53Well, how was all you?
19:54Oh, traitor.
19:55I wish.
19:56Once I realized I wasn't going to be a traitor, I had no strategy for that.
20:00Because I just believed I was going to be a traitor.
20:03I'm surprised that so many people wanted to be a traitor.
20:06Yeah, I really did.
20:08Disappointing to be a faithful.
20:09Didn't get the tap on the shoulder that I was hoping for.
20:13But that's now clarity.
20:15There are at least three traitors here we have to catch.
20:17Sean ate.
20:18He had a very serious demeanor.
20:19Blindfold came off and caught him with a little smirk.
20:24Could have just been excitement, but we'll keep an eye on him.
20:26Pardon?
20:27How's my fellow Corp?
20:28Oh, very good.
20:29Are you faithful?
20:32Yeah.
20:33Do you know what?
20:34I was actually terrified.
20:36Because everyone is paranoid now, obviously.
20:38You know, the antenna has gone up.
20:42Congratulations.
20:43Oh, look at that!
20:44Did you see what he did?
20:45The paranoia has begun.
20:48I don't even know who the other traitors are.
20:50Did you spot anything that looked a bit...
20:51No, I was looking for people that were gulping down water.
20:53I was just trying to maintain who I was when I went into that round table.
20:58There is one person that emptied their glass completely.
21:01I know another person has noticed that there was something that stood out.
21:06Pete spotted that certain someone's glass of water was completely empty.
21:10The only one empty in the hallway.
21:11Oh, my God.
21:12Yeah, yeah.
21:13He said it was he dead.
21:16As soon as that blindfold came off, I was like,
21:18I'm gonna have to reach for this water.
21:20And then, instantly, I'm like,
21:21somebody's gonna think I'm a traitor,
21:23because I've reached for the water.
21:25You don't know what's going on, so, yeah.
21:33How are we, girls?
21:34Hi.
21:35Are we good?
21:36I'm actually glad that's over.
21:38Everyone is giving off such fateful vibes,
21:40but someone's lying to me,
21:41and I don't like to be lied to.
21:43Are you fateful?
21:44I am fateful.
21:45I asked you already.
21:47You did?
21:47Did you want to be a traitor or fateful?
21:49There's definitely been one or two people
21:51who have not been able to hold eye contact
21:53and have looked away.
21:55Are you a traitor?
21:56Am I a traitor?
21:57Yeah.
21:57Are you trying to pull a quick one at me?
21:59No, I'm just asking a question.
22:01Laura's going straight in.
22:03He's going straight in.
22:04No kissing.
22:05Okay, glad you actually did answer.
22:07I was like, is he gonna answer?
22:08No, I was like, yeah, that's fair enough.
22:10Okay.
22:11No, so I can relax.
22:12Are you a traitor?
22:13Are you a traitor?
22:15Are you a traitor?
22:16I don't do it.
22:18Well, isn't he?
22:19Isn't he?
22:20Hey, I'll be like,
22:21don't be coming after my boy.
22:25I'm like, whoa, man.
22:27All right.
22:28Yes, my lord.
22:28Faithful?
22:29Faithful.
22:30Faithful always, my lord.
22:31Oh, so we need to be friends.
22:32Yes, absolutely.
22:33We can absolutely be.
22:34Laura, I would see at this point,
22:36as somebody who trusts me,
22:38and that is something that I'm aiming to deepen.
22:41What about you?
22:42Are you a faithful?
22:42I'm a faithful 100%.
22:44100%.
22:44I'm looking at everyone in the eye.
22:45I hope to not die.
22:47I think we're amongst faithful here.
22:48I think we're amongst faithful here.
22:49I think we're amongst faithful.
22:49I genuinely think she's faithful as well.
22:51Yes, I would.
22:52I feel like people are already starting to trust me.
22:54People are saying it.
22:55Oh, no, you're definitely a faithful.
22:57And I'm like, yeah, no, no, of course I am.
23:00The overall mood in the castle at this exact point
23:03is high suspicion.
23:05There has to be a relationship.
23:07Like a mother, father, husband, wife.
23:10I think there's a family relation.
23:12I do too.
23:12Do you?
23:13Do you have any ideas?
23:15Yeah, I have an idea, yeah.
23:18Emma and Kayleigh.
23:21I really do think there's some sort of relationship there.
23:24I'm gonna be honest.
23:25I thought Emma was your man.
23:28Emma.
23:29It's been floored around that Emma might be Kayleigh's mother.
23:32Your man.
23:33You thought it was our man.
23:34Our sisters.
23:35Are you shaming me?
23:37How old did you get a reaction?
23:38And you put me in the light.
23:40People thinking that Emma was my mam was brilliant.
23:43Her man.
23:44I think you look like...
23:45Now, you could have said older sister or something, but her man.
23:47I don't know what I'm judging her.
23:48You put me in me later.
23:49Her auntie.
23:49You're judging that I'm in me 60.
23:51She's her auntie.
23:52She's 33.
23:53I didn't think she was that age though.
23:55I am a little raging.
23:57I'm like, Bebs, I didn't have her when I was 12.
24:00You're not me friend any more now to ruin me day.
24:03It's not dapty.
24:04It's not dapty.
24:06It's very deep.
24:06It's very deep.
24:06I don't know.
24:08It's just a teary at the minute.
24:10Her ma.
24:11Hey.
24:11She's so good.
24:12Ladies, ma.
24:13Why did she think I was in me 60s?
24:15I'm so upset.
24:20With speculation and suspicions everywhere, it's time for the players to head out for their
24:27first mission.
24:29This is a car of faithfuls, I'm assuming.
24:32Yes.
24:33Good.
24:33Is that a yes?
24:34It's a big yes.
24:35Are we looking forward to this?
24:37Let's get this.
24:38Can't wait.
24:42Do either of you play sport, lads, or are you just gymming?
24:44I played GA growing up.
24:46I was delighted to even get to put on the Westmead shirt at the underage, minor level,
24:50and represent Westmead in Croke Park.
24:53At the mission, people become who they are.
24:56So I'm curious to see how people change in mission mode.
25:11I see lots of random stones scattered about as if Stonehenge had just been obliterated.
25:17What is this?
25:24Welcome, everyone, to your very first mission.
25:28Oh, look at you, you poor creators.
25:31Struggling with the weight of expectation at this stage of the game.
25:35Now, let me alleviate your load.
25:38Let me ease your burden, and give you an even heavier one, in the shape of large slabs
25:46of stone used to build an ancient Irish dolmen.
25:52What is a dolmen, says you?
25:55Uncultured swine, says I.
25:58It is a megalithic tomb that was used as a final resting place.
26:04Scattered all around you are seven of these large slabs of stone, along with some generous
26:10bags of money, which you will need to work as a team to bring back to the sacred circle.
26:16Where, if correctly assembled and combined with the bags of money, you will win 6,500 euro.
26:25Now, you don't have to sacrifice a player for money, but you will need to sacrifice someone
26:30in order to take a piece of the dolmen.
26:33When the dolmen is erect, you must ignite the fire to complete the mission.
26:38The circle will then become a ring of fire, and anyone who is inside the sacred circle
26:45will be immune from the traitor's first murder.
26:49There will be sacrifices along the way, and those sacrificed will be up for murder tonight.
26:57If you fail to construct the ancient monument, then this mission will be classed as a monumental
27:02flop, and nothing will be added to the prize pot.
27:06You have 30 minutes.
27:11So don't just stand there looking at me in my lovely hat. Off you go, right, live!
27:15Go on!
27:17Let's go!
27:19Build me a dolmen!
27:23I love this job.
27:25Slow and steady.
27:26I turn around.
27:28I look at the hill.
27:29I'm like, nah.
27:30So bumpy!
27:32Within five seconds, I'm sure I was flat on my face.
27:37Ooh, one down.
27:39My fucking boots!
27:41Oh, my days!
27:43Park the musician.
27:44I think he definitely took lead.
27:46You must sacrifice two players.
27:48They must remain shackled here until the end of the mission.
27:50Right, so what's our logic for it?
27:51What's our logic?
27:52Does anybody feel like they can't make the course?
27:55Oh, oh!
27:56Oh, no, I'm down!
27:57All I was thinking was, I can't run up this hole.
27:59I can't run up this hole.
28:00I can't carry that big thing.
28:02We can't take it to a sacrifice.
28:04We have to sacrifice somebody.
28:06I was very quiet, because if I got to the end, and if I got to be in that circle,
28:12I wouldn't be up for murder.
28:13Yeah, we can't take it yet.
28:15Sacrifice me!
28:16Just sacrifice me!
28:18We have one volunteer.
28:19Does anybody else not think they can make it the whole way out?
28:22I probably will want to be sacrificed.
28:23Okay.
28:24A few people kind of put their hands up early.
28:27I do think if you sacrifice yourself first, suspicion will come on you.
28:32Right, go on.
28:32Best of luck, lad.
28:34Go for it!
28:35Woo!
28:36Oh.
28:38I was like, this could be suspicious looking.
28:46Remember, the ones with the block won't be as quick as us, so no need to up burn too much
28:50energy.
28:51Yeah, just run.
28:52Oh!
28:52Is he doing it now?
28:53For me!
28:53I realised that everybody is trying to carry a dolmen in order to not be sacrificed, so...
29:01You bad!
29:02I am pegging it towards that second dolmen, because I am carrying it, and I am not sacrificing myself.
29:08Two players.
29:09Two players.
29:10I am going to carry this one.
29:11Off they go.
29:13Over the crest of the hill.
29:14Farewell!
29:16Time for a cup of tea.
29:19It's actually not that heavy.
29:20Straight away, at the next stop, it was kind of like, oh, I'll take it off you.
29:24Yeah, okay, okay, okay.
29:25I was like, no, no, no, you know, the boys have got this, we have it.
29:28So I thought, right, leave them off.
29:30Anybody interested in sacrifice?
29:32Go on, I'll do it.
29:33I'm starting this down.
29:35I'll stay behind.
29:36This is going to be a very tall dolmen.
29:38I'm not a very tall person.
29:40I don't think I'm going to be much use here.
29:43Just remember this tonight.
29:44It was harsh seeing some people having to sacrifice themselves knowing they'd be put up for murder.
29:49Let's go, yeah.
29:53Well done.
29:54Go on, boys!
29:58I'm already regretting this.
30:00I'm regretting it as well.
30:01I just hope I don't get more than the first night.
30:03I've got too many clothes.
30:04I want to at least wear some of my outfits.
30:06Do you know what I mean?
30:08I'd be raging.
30:10How many?
30:11One sacrifice.
30:12There's money, lads, money.
30:13Clear for money.
30:14The next one was a bag of cash, 500 euro.
30:17I'd say everyone was standing around looking at it and I said, no, I'll do it.
30:21Lads, lads, remember, there's 5,000 if we get the dolmen assembled.
30:25More people to carry, the better.
30:26We could have easily let the 500 could go.
30:28I didn't think it was worth wasting a volunteer.
30:31Oh, sorry, I don't.
30:32I think if Grania wants to be shackled, let her.
30:34No, no.
30:35Keep her, keep her, keep her.
30:36We're going for the 5,000 in the middle, right?
30:38Keep Grania.
30:38No, you'll stay with us.
30:40Stick with us.
30:41Go, go!
30:42No!
30:43Get a sacrifice, lads!
30:44She's saying to take the money, lads!
30:46How flippin' they were about the money.
30:48What is wrong with everyone?
30:49Okay, okay.
30:50Let's go, let's go.
30:51So, yeah, go.
30:52Thanks, Gras.
30:53You know, I just thought this is going to be the issue.
30:55I thought the only thing that would come between us is people sacrificing themselves.
30:59That was going to be the problem.
31:00Is that right, Grania?
31:03Yeah, go.
31:06Let's hope they get it built now.
31:09Two players again.
31:10Two players.
31:10Two players.
31:12In fairness, Fanula, she reluctantly, very reluctantly volunteered to do it.
31:15I'll do it.
31:17I did feel the group in general would have expected me to sacrifice myself because I was one of
31:24the weaker links.
31:26Bar the other Sean, it's been all girls that have sacrificed themselves already.
31:30We should have kept.
31:31We should have kept Grania.
31:33I completely agree.
31:33Keep going.
31:35I'm not wasting the time.
31:37Anyone want to shackle themselves now?
31:38I'm carrying.
31:39Oh, I'm carrying.
31:40I honestly think I'm better down there building.
31:42I've designed props.
31:44Do you know what I mean?
31:45I literally design things that we build like so, and I kind of understand how things like
31:50slot together.
31:51I'm happy.
31:52I really don't want to do it.
31:54Time is ticking, guys.
31:55Yeah.
31:55Okay, listen, I'll do it.
31:56I'll sacrifice myself.
31:57I'm really reluctant, the ice is okay.
31:59Let's now do it because the clock was ticking.
32:01Go, go, go, go.
32:02Good luck, guys.
32:02Go on, good luck.
32:03Good luck, guys.
32:05Now, he was quite annoyed.
32:07If she'd have done that, drop that 500 quid and come over here.
32:09You were happy to volunteer.
32:11I didn't want to be here.
32:12So we sat there, and I fed into that to get him on side.
32:16I tell you now, if I survive this, I ain't going to be nobody's fool going forward.
32:21If she'd stayed with us for another 100 yards, chances are growing you's a traitor anywhere.
32:34One sacrifice, 1,000 euro.
32:36It's 1,000 euro up for grabs.
32:38Forget it.
32:38Forget about it.
32:39We're not shackling anyone.
32:40Yeah, leave it.
32:42Yeah?
32:42Everyone happy with that, yeah?
32:43Agreed.
32:43I think leave.
32:44Nobody even voted.
32:45It was just like, screw the money.
32:47Go, go, go, go.
32:48He just said, no, keep going, keep going, keep going.
32:53Four players.
32:54Four here, guys.
32:55Everyone was refusing to get into the shackles.
32:57Anyone who's not carrying us has been busting my bollocks.
32:59I'm not keeping myself up now.
33:01I wanted to say, get over yourself, Poric.
33:03Or, you know, if you hadn't allowed somebody else to carry you.
33:06Like I said, I'm good at building.
33:08I build props.
33:08There's instructions.
33:09It's like putting a piece of Lego together.
33:11Like, we'd all be able to do a kind of thing.
33:12Time is ticking, guys.
33:13We need...
33:14We need four.
33:15I'll go.
33:15I'll go.
33:16We don't need individuals.
33:17We need a team here.
33:18Okay?
33:19Shackle up.
33:19You definitely all confident of building.
33:20It's only because I'm a construction teacher.
33:22That's the only reason why I'm old now.
33:24Again, I have the background of construction and stuff like that.
33:27So, like, again, I'm good with hands-on kind of things.
33:30I'll go because I'm small.
33:31Come on.
33:31I'll go.
33:31I dug my heels in and I was like, don't do it.
33:34Don't do it.
33:34Don't do it.
33:35Just think of the money.
33:36Think of the money.
33:37The money that we left behind.
33:38Team players, not individuals.
33:40Let's go.
33:40Let's go.
33:40Come on.
33:41Come on, Kayleigh.
33:42Good stuff.
33:42Over here.
33:43Oh, yeah.
33:43Over here.
33:44Quick.
33:44I'm just staring the shackles at them going, yeah, we're all up for murder.
33:47Oh, my God.
33:48This is horrendous.
33:49Oh, I actually think I'm on a nettle there.
33:51Oh, you are on a nettle.
33:52I won't be, like, poised until I...
33:5712 minutes left.
33:59Back to the sacred shackle.
34:01Remember, you have to build the thing.
34:04It's just one...
34:05Oh, my God.
34:08Look at the size of that.
34:10They're building Glastonbury.
34:12We're trying to figure out how it goes together, what parts, what colours.
34:15So, we need to spin this around.
34:16Spin the legs, yeah.
34:17Dave, you go around.
34:18Yeah.
34:18Yeah, yeah.
34:19Like this?
34:20Slowly, yeah, yeah, yeah.
34:21They've already just pointed out if Donald and Janet don't get it up like, to be fair.
34:25They're in construction.
34:26Don't forget that.
34:26Did they tell you that?
34:27You know Janet builds.
34:29Gosh.
34:30Lovely.
34:31Keep going, keep going.
34:33Good.
34:33Thank God Donald and Janet were there, and the likes of Sam and Peter to have immense strengths.
34:38There we go, Sam.
34:40Now, legs.
34:40Two legs first.
34:41Players, you have three minutes.
34:43Remember, the ancient tools need to be put back.
34:47Get the legs in.
34:48Get the legs in.
34:49Get the legs in.
34:49Get the legs up.
34:50Shake that out.
34:51Slowly, slowly.
34:53That's it.
34:54That's it, it's up.
34:55That's it.
34:56Wait.
34:57Wait, pause, pause.
34:58We did it, and I was kind of going, great, we're going to get immunity, and then Donald had
35:02the idea.
35:02Can I say something before we do it?
35:04Everyone else sacrifice themselves up there.
35:06Can we do the same thing here, and all stand outside of the circle?
35:10I wouldn't stand in.
35:11Good show.
35:11I kind of love the idea.
35:13That's a great show.
35:14I think fair is fair.
35:15That's a great show.
35:16Fair play to Donald.
35:17Donald made a suggestion at the very end.
35:20No one questioned it.
35:21Great show.
35:22Is everyone happy?
35:24Obviously, at that point, I'm not going to be like, no, I want to stay in the circle.
35:27So we're like, yay, oh my God, Donald, you're amazing.
35:30Donald, you deserve to press it.
35:33No, no, I think we should all do it.
35:34They're not all doing it together, are they?
35:36Well, maybe they are.
35:38Oh my God!
35:39You know that if you are outside the sacred circle, that you will not be immune.
35:45That's fine.
35:45Do we have the money?
35:46Do we have the money?
35:47You do have the money.
35:48Three, two, one.
35:49Yes!
35:52Yes!
35:57Yes!
35:59Yes!
36:01Yes!
36:01Yes!
36:01Yes!
36:02Yes!
36:02No, I felt pretty good, I have to say.
36:04Shout out to the camaraderie that we had.
36:06It was a bit of a sting that the community was gone.
36:08So nobody's safe, and Donald is the hero of the day.
36:14Yeah, we're all up for murder.
36:16Well done, Donald.
36:18Woo-hoo!
36:19I can't help but think, at the end of the day, there could be traders who were attached
36:24to those trees, and they're under the radar.
36:27It was Donald's idea.
36:29Everyone is going to be up for murder.
36:32I was like, haha, what?
36:34Yeah!
36:36Donald, is it true or no?
36:39Absolutely.
36:40Clever, clever, clever.
36:50Car, on the way back, we were talking about whether there was a possibility that there
36:54was any traitors who sacrificed themselves.
36:56So, I'm going to throw something out there.
36:58Yeah.
36:58Does anybody think a traitor sacrificed themselves?
37:01Guaranteed.
37:02Okay.
37:02Yeah.
37:02So, do we have any theories on them?
37:04Well, I think, you know, at the bottom, there was DJ.
37:08Hayley.
37:09Hayley.
37:09Hayley.
37:10Hayley.
37:11Hayley.
37:11Hayley.
37:11Ifa.
37:12And Ifa.
37:13Yeah, and then it was interesting because Fanula jumped on the last group.
37:16Like, she had sacrificed herself, but then she started focusing on the last few people
37:20to sacrifice themselves.
37:21That was a little bit suspicious.
37:23Yeah.
37:24You knew you weren't going to be murdered.
37:25Yeah.
37:26And you could just not have to do the task.
37:29You could be a hero.
37:29Yeah, yeah, yeah.
37:30You could be a hero.
37:31Yeah, yeah, yeah.
37:32I don't know.
37:32It's just food for thought.
37:34I just hope that it doesn't put Donald in the firing line.
37:37If I'm gone in the morning, that's...
37:39It's not going to be you, but...
37:41Sorry, if that happens to you, I will not be happy.
37:51You sticking the kettle on, Kylie?
37:52I am.
37:54When we come back to the castle, everyone's definitely a lot more relaxed, which is,
37:58like, really, really lovely.
37:59You're the king, the man, the legend.
38:02Tell you what, you can pour some weight around the bus.
38:04Coming back, all the chat about, like, we bonded and we made such a good team.
38:08We do well as a team.
38:09It's a great team.
38:10Yeah.
38:11Yeah, I know everyone pulled their weight on that.
38:12Yeah.
38:13Yeah.
38:14Well, he did more than us.
38:15Give me things to lift and run with all day.
38:17Like, I'm not sacrificing myself.
38:19Do you know what I mean?
38:19So, fair played.
38:20Your man, Porik, you just hogged your piece of the dolmen.
38:25Do you know what I mean?
38:26Yeah.
38:26Which Porik?
38:27You hardly think he sacrificed himself now.
38:30I wanted to win the money for the team.
38:32I want to stay in this game as long as possible, and I want to do the missions.
38:36I don't want to sit there with shackles on my arms.
38:38I hope what Donald did was a real, true, faithful move, though.
38:42Do you understand what I mean?
38:44No, I do, and don't do that to me.
38:46That's what a few people have said as well.
38:48He was like, this can also come off as a bad thing.
38:50Has he said that?
38:51He has said it in a car.
38:54I hope he made it to breakfast.
38:56Oh, best.
38:57Well, I won't be fucking kidding, anyway.
38:59I won't be kidding, anyway.
39:03Cheers, cheers, cheers.
39:07Cheers, guys.
39:09Cheers, my love.
39:11Cheers.
39:12I just think it's so crazy that there is traders here, and that somebody will win.
39:17And you'll be like, I don't know what I'm talking to them in the kitchen.
39:19I remember, like, seven people here.
39:22Like, the odds are it could be one person.
39:23Seven, seven, 14, seven, 14, 21.
39:25On 23, how many's in the room?
39:27Seven.
39:27Seven.
39:28Myself and my fellow traders have a much easier decision because we have a wide and open field as to
39:34who we can murder.
39:35Like, I'm like, if I have to go out, I want it to be at that round table.
39:38Me too.
39:39Oh, 1,000%.
39:40To be kicked off without even being able to defend yourself at a round table, like, fuming.
39:46But God forbid, touch wood, that's not even wood.
39:49A couple of people have been like to me, oh, God, you're quick on the investigation.
39:52Like, to watch you, you know, you're, like, investigator Laura.
39:55And I'm like, well, I'm fucking gone anyway.
39:57If they're murdering tonight, who are they going to look for? A threat?
40:00I think we've all got equal to answer.
40:03Oh, yeah, yeah.
40:04Being murdered, like.
40:04Do you have your suspicions, though?
40:06Yeah, we're, like, a very queer number one.
40:09Are you willing to share and I'll share?
40:10Yeah.
40:11Okay.
40:11Wayne's Adele.
40:13Okay, good.
40:14Okay, I'm glad.
40:15Yeah.
40:15There was no deflation.
40:16There was absolute inflation.
40:17Oh, shit.
40:17And that's what I'm really like.
40:19Sorry, old girl.
40:19You got what you wanted.
40:22Wow, look at these two are over here.
40:25Flotting.
40:26She's the cop that got the cream and...
40:28And she knows she's sleeping well tonight.
40:30I know.
40:31I know.
40:31I know.
40:32I know.
40:38I know.
40:41I know.
40:42I know.
40:42I know.
40:42I know.
40:43I know.
40:44Oh, shit.
40:45Home time.
40:47Last order.
40:47Sláinte!
40:48Sláinte!
40:48Sláinte!
40:50The castle clock has chimed, bringing the curtain down on a very eventful first day here at the castle.
40:57Maybe they'll go for me.
40:58Why wouldn't they go for me?
40:59They could go for me as much as they could go for anyone else.
41:02Bye!
41:02Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
41:04See you in the morning, hopefully.
41:06Secrets hide in the dead of night.
41:09We didn't get the shot, but I hope we shot tomorrow.
41:11Probably not.
41:12Have I been too vocal?
41:14They might see me as a strong or an influential player.
41:18Bye, babe.
41:19Bye, bye, baby.
41:20You did well, yeah?
41:22It's kind of an open playing field.
41:24We're like ducks waiting to be shot.
41:28All the players will now retire to their individual lodgings, and they will have no contact with each other.
41:35For the faithfuls, there's very little to do except consider their place in the game.
41:40But for the traitors, the party is just getting started.
41:44No one survives the dead of the night.
42:04I'm on a mission to find a way.
42:09Candy poison, give you a taste.
42:16Nice to see you here.
42:18Really nice to be here.
42:19I'm weak.
42:21Well, we need strong traitors.
42:23Okay.
42:23All weaknesses are gone.
42:25God.
42:25Before you convene the first conclave, you must take the traitors over.
42:32Do you commit to lie and deceive throughout the game?
42:37I do.
42:40Are you willing to murder your fellow players every single night?
42:46Oh, I am.
42:49Do you vow to keep your identity and the identity of your fellow traitors a secret?
42:55I do.
42:57Then you are now, officially, a traitor.
43:00Well done.
43:01Would you like a cloak?
43:02Absolutely.
43:03It's part of the deal.
43:04I think it will be a good colour on you.
43:07It's a gorgeous colour.
43:08Slán.
43:09Slán a rash.
43:10For garlicus.
43:21Putting on the traitors cloak for the first time.
43:24I like it.
43:25Keeps me warm.
43:26Keeps me cosy.
43:28It was like a hug.
43:30A dangerous hug for others, but a hug nonetheless for me.
43:39Going into my first conclave, the other traitors will see another side of me.
43:45As I step in, I feel like I'm literally going through the looking glass.
43:55Well, well, well.
43:58Queen of Cor?
44:00OMG.
44:02He wasn't on my thought list that he would be there.
44:05Look at you in the conclave.
44:06I'm a little stumped as to you.
44:08I wasn't all that shocked.
44:11Had you heard my name today?
44:12No, I didn't.
44:12Did you hear mine?
44:13No.
44:13She does have a little bit of heat.
44:15So that is a little bit of a concern for us.
44:18We'll have to just share and see who can be under the bus.
44:23Oh, Jesus.
44:24She's crazy.
44:25You see the other side of me here now.
44:27No.
44:42No.
44:44No.
44:45No.
44:46No.
44:46I knew you were too sweet to be whole time.
44:49Sorry, I love this.
44:51I was like, Vanilla, what are you doing here?
44:54I didn't expect it.
44:58I didn't expect it.
45:28I didn't expect it.
45:28I was like, not a fourth.
45:30Oh, were you expecting someone else?
45:33Is he sure?
45:34Well, it's still about room there, isn't there?
45:36Well, do you know what?
45:37I did say that the traitor's selection was not finished.
45:41Yes.
45:42You're going to decide who will be joining you here as the fourth traitor.
45:47Having a fourth traitor is a bit interesting, isn't it?
45:49It makes me unsettled.
45:51Four traitors?
45:53What is this leading to?
45:55Now, you will not meet them here tonight, but they will have a big part of the proceedings
46:02as they will have the final say on who will be murdered tonight.
46:07Oh.
46:09Okay.
46:10All clear?
46:11All clear.
46:12Chop, chop.
46:13Oh.
46:14It's a chop and board.
46:15Choose another traitor.
46:17I think older Sean.
46:22Just haven't gotten a grasp of him yet.
46:24I saw you chatting with him earlier.
46:25I chatted with him because we were on the hill, and we bonded.
46:30He seems to have the ear of people to be persuading, and he has that amiable nature to persuade
46:37and people believe him.
46:38I can't get a reading of him.
46:39I just can't work him out.
46:41I liked what she was saying, so I'm like, maybe.
46:45My name is going to be Laura.
46:49I think she's underestimated.
46:51I think she could be fierce.
46:52I think she'd be very good.
46:54Carly, are you not feeling it?
46:55I think she'd be absolutely fabulous.
46:56Okay.
46:57I really don't think she wants to do it.
46:59I think she might panic a bit.
47:01That's what I'm getting.
47:02Because I heard she's worried that she's going to be killed because she was asking questions.
47:06Laura, I would see at this point as somebody who I would absolutely trust, and who trusts me.
47:13She is incredibly, incredibly smart.
47:16Adele is a good, strong person.
47:18She is.
47:18She's going to be the queen of the faithfuls if she's a faithful.
47:23I haven't talked to her at all.
47:24Oh, my gosh.
47:25I was in the car twice today with her.
47:27She's on the game.
47:28Now, the only thing is, she has made, like, alliances already with her three sons.
47:33Whoever was in that car with her.
47:35Sean Oag.
47:36Donal.
47:38And Ian.
47:39I was kind of going, no, we need to really factor this in.
47:42So, that was in the back of my head as we were starting the shortlist thing.
47:46Let's make our first United decision.
47:47Okay.
47:47We'll stick with it together.
47:56Three happy traitors.
47:58Mm-hmm.
47:59Have you made a decision as to who will be joining you as a fourth traitor?
48:02Yes.
48:03And who would like to write the letter?
48:05Go on, you go first.
48:09Yes.
48:10Down to business.
48:17I know evil when I see it.
48:20I know evil when I see it.
48:23Okay, then.
48:24I will deliver this myself.
48:26And I'll see you at breakfast.
48:28I ain't gonna know who did it.
48:38We have chosen the fourth Traitor.
48:41I'm more than happy to hand this murder over.
48:44This is what's going to have to be done.
48:49Do you commit to lie and deceive throughout the game?
48:54To murder your fellow players every single night?
48:58To keep your identity and the identity of your fellow Traitors a secret?
49:08Then you are now, officially, a Traitor.
49:14Who will our fourth Traitor have murdered before the night is out?
49:32See you later.
49:35Someone to chase through my head
49:43As you stay and lose the city in time
50:05As you stay and lose the city in time
