00:08A McCree is a formal evaluation designed to test a unit's warfighting ability,

00:13combat proficiency, and mission readiness in preparation for deployments or real-world contingency operations.

00:23The Squadron's mission set during our time in Montana is really going to be focused on our mission essential tasks.

00:31So aviation operations from expeditionary sites, combat assault transport, air delivery,

00:37tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel, and in addition, we're going to refine our TTPs if necessary

00:42to continue to explore how we can further facilitate success in a distributed, contested environment.

00:52And up here, because of the temperature, we're high, hot, and heavy, we are really expanding the pilot's skill set,

01:01utilizing the aircraft to conduct heavy lift external operations.

01:05And we're also breaking barriers for the 53K program regarding beyond line of sight communications.

01:16What I expect out of the Marines during this McCree is to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

01:21Our motto is test us in combat.

01:24We expect our Marines to apply that mindset in everything that they do and execute.

01:29From our support and maintenance departments to pilot progression, we expect our Marines to hone their skills,

01:34overcome obstacles, be forward thinkers, and demonstrate professional excellence in an austere environment.
