"DI KO NA BABANGGITIN...MEDYO BASTOS,"

WATCH: House prosecution panel spokesperson Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong in a press briefing on Thursday, Aug. 27, refused to state one of the alias names in documents tied to Vice President Sara Duterte’s confidential funds, saying the name could be interpreted as an innuendo.

Adiong appeared to be referring to the name “Xuniso P. Belat,” which was listed in an acknowledgment receipt presented by the prosecution panel during Duterte’s impeachment trial this week. Adiong said he was advised by Iloilo 1st District Rep. Janette Garin not to pronounce the name. (Video courtesy of House of Representatives)
